Hello, everyone! It's been quiet around here, but only because we have been hard at work! As it turned out, this experimental zine project took longer to fine-tune than we anticipated, and we decided to postpone a little. The new publication date is soon though - October 19th - so stay tuned! 💗

Raphael from Baldur's Gate 3 looks annoyed and says: "This is ridiculous. Didn't you say "September"?!"

The text below his speech bubble says:

All good things come in threes, so we're pleased to present the third and final of our backstage mods, @nanor0x.bsky.social! We're very happy she's part of the team!

A mod spotlight for the BG3 Yearbook zine, showcasing backstage mod Nano. She as this to say about herself:

Mostly a reader and enjoyer of various fanfiction and fanart! I've been a fan of BG3 since it officially released and love seeing other people's OCs and Durges being drawn and written about.

We're very happy to count Emily among our backstage mods! Making sure that every contributor finds their way around with the numerous options and forms they may use to present their OC's lore, Emily and the backstage team handle communications and administration!

A mod spotlight for the BG3 Yearbook zine, presenting backstage mod Emily. She has this to say about herself:

I'm mainly a cat botherer and consumer of BG3 content. It is a joy to see all of these characters come to life. If pop culture created a person I'd be like 35% as cool a that person. Probably.

To help things run smoothly, we have a handful of backstage mods who help wherever they can. One of them is @sebastianslyric170.bsky.social who in addition stepped up as a writing mod, so we're very thankful to her for literally working for two! ✨

A mod spotlight for the BG3 Yearbook zine, presenting Writing & Backstage mod Jodie. She has this to say about herself:

I found my love of writing again through the BG3 fandom and have been writing non-stop for the last year. I love music, books, movies, photography, and of course, our beloved game.

To help present the OC's stories in their own voice, @writerstears.bsky.social is on the case as one of our writing mods! We're very happy to have him on board! ✨

A mod spotlight for the BG3 Yearbook zine, presenting writing mod Feliks. He has this to say about himself:

I'm a lazy writer who studies literature and masters the knowledge I've got from class by reading BG3 fanfics (or making my own!). My Durge, Séraphine, is an unreliable narrator and I don't trust him either, even though I made him. I am a chronic yapper and I love hearing about everyone else's characters!

The pen is mightier than the sword, or so we heard... please meet the first of our fantastic writing mods in today's Mod Spotlight - Baker!

A mod spotlight for the BG3 Yearbook mod, showcasing writing mod Baker. The mod's short self-description is:

"I found my love of writing once again when I began playing BG3. Ever since then, I've been writing and writing, sometimes until the early morning. It's been such a joy to be a part of the fandom and make new friends along the way. Unfortunately, my OCs have suffered at my hands and there's no end in sight for those precious babies."

Another day, another Mod Spotlight! Meet Amy, the second member of Team Layout, taking great care that our beloved characters are presented in the best possible light: @musickeeper.bsky.social

A "mod spotlight" graphic for the BG3 Yearbook zine. It presents layout mod Amy, who writes about herself: "I'm a triple threat -- sometimes I read, other times I write, and most of the time I yell. Whether I'm yelling about Astarion, my OC, or someone else's OC depends on the day."

Baldurians & friends - ! We have been silent these past weeks, and it's entirely your fault... We have received a LOT of applications, met so many of your amazing OCs and are just about done doing our designated reading. We will sadly not be able to feature every OC even though we would love to (+)

MISSING!! Dwarf & Dragonborn OCs, where are you? Half-Orcs, it's looking pretty lonely at your end of the table, too! We are also experiencing an alarming absence of Minthara-mancers! If any of that makes your OC perk up, please apply below!

All Tavs, Durges and other OCs will be welcome and none will be excluded based on style, looks, modded/unmodded state, orientation, choice of romance, or for any other reason. This is a mock-up (definitely not a final design!) of how the Yearbook pages for one original character might look!
