There’s an AI plugin now that generates comic books. I fed it the last few lines from The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe as a test
The prompt I put in, which was rendered disturbingly well:

**THE CASK OF AMONTILLADO — Final Panels**

**PANEL 1**
*Setting:* A damp niche deep in the Montresor catacombs, nitre glittering white on black stone. A wall of masonry has been built up to chest height across the recess. Behind it, FORTUNATO — a portly man in a parti-striped jester's motley, conical cap with bells — is chained to the granite at the back, arms slack. His face is lit from below by a single flambeau wedged in the rubble. Bone piles heaped along the corridor walls.
*Camera:* Medium shot from inside the niche, looking out past Fortunato's shoulder over the unfinished wall. We see only Montresor's gloved hands and the trowel beyond it.
*Mood:* Sickly amber torchlight, deep blacks, damp highlights.

> FORTUNATO (speech balloon, ragged, trembling lettering):
> "For the love of God, Montresor!"

---

**PANEL 2**
*Setting:* The same niche, seconds later, reversed. MONTRESOR stands in the corridor, one hand setting the final stone into place, the other holding the trowel. His expression is flat, courteous, almost bored. Through the last narrow gap, we catch a sliver of Fortunato's face and the glint of a bell on his cap.
*Camera:* Close on Montresor, three-quarter profile, the gap in the wall a thin bright slit at frame right.
*Mood:* Torchlight failing, shadows swallowing the left of the frame.

> MONTRESOR (speech balloon, calm, even lettering):
> "Yes, for the love of God."

*Caption box, bottom right:* In pace requiescat.

A re-rendering of the recent post by Trump depicting him as Jesus healing a sick person. This one shows Trump pulling the patient's wallet out from under the patient's gown with his right hand, flipping the bird at the viewer with his left hand, and the nurse to the right is screaming instead of softly crying.

Told my wife to have dinner ready by 6 or I'll obliterate her entire civilization.

So anyway, she now charges me a fee to use the bathroom that used to be free, and I didn't get any dinner, but I'm pretty sure I won that exchange.

Post by user “andhumanslovedstories”:

I started using Head and Shoulders ten years ago for itchy scalp and dandruff, and then for ten years I have not had itchy scalp and dandruff, so I thought "why do I still buy shampoo to combat itchy scalp and dandruff when I do not have itchy scalp and dandruff, so l stopped buying the shampoo for itchy scalp and dandruff and can you guess I have now? Can you predict what currently afflicts me? It's alright if you can't because apparently I fuckin couldn't either

Cutting something out of your life because you think you don't need it any more only to realize that it was in fact working as intended and preventing a problem that will return should you stop doing this is a good experiment to run periodically with something small like dandruff shampoo, lest you start to think it would be a good idea to do this with like let's say public heath and the social safety net and vaccines

Raspberry Pis would get a lot more interesting if you could induce selected emotions with specific EM frequencies. Hook it up to a MIDI keyboard and you could become an unholy terror at parties
A diagram called "Scale of Some Emotions With Different Energies". There is a stack of sine waves with increasing wavelength (high frequency at the top, low frequency at the bottom), stacked atop each other and taking the bulk of the diagram.

Along each side, there are words characterizing the various sine waves. The right side associates specific feelings with each sine wave.

Along the left from high to low frequency: Elevated Emotions, Faster Frequency, Greater Energy (at top), and Slower Frequency, Greater Density/Matter, and Survival Emotions (at bottom).

Along the right side from high to low frequency: Bliss, Freedom, Love, Joy, Appreciation, Gratitude, Will, Power, Control, Anger, Fear, Guilt, Shame, Suffering, Victimization, Pain, Lust

Corpse/voodoo lilies are blooming near our house. It will smell like meat for a few days, because that's how these flowers attract pollinators. But we get to look at them in the meantime.
A voodoo lily, likely Dracunculus vulgaris but I haven't confirmed, blooming.

There is a prominent, deep purple-to-rust colored dragon tail-shaped petal complex leaning off to the left, opened upward. The petals are opened up like a long thin book, with pages on either side sticking up from a spine. The petals extend up and back around 30cm to one side from the trunk of the plant.

Sticking straight up from the root of the flower, embraced by the petals on either side, is a thin, black spathe. The spathe is about 20cm tall, maybe 1cm around at the base, with a small rounded tip maybe 4mm across.

A vertical stack of four panels.

Top panel: Episcopal Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde giving a sermon, presumably the one from this week where she exhorted Donald Trump to show mercy to immigrants and other marginalized people.

Second panel: Crowley (angel) and Aziraphale (demon) from Good Omens. Aziraphale asks Crowley "What was it she said that got everyone so upset?"

Third panel: Crowley responds "Be kind to each other."

Fourth panel: Aziraphale says "Oh yeah. That'll do it."

A winged, armored warrior stands on a mountaintop. Across the image reads the following poem:

“””
And now I lay
me down to sleep

I pray the gods
my soul to keep

And if I die
before I wake

At least I got
some fucking sleep

A human arm rests on a table, pointing left, in front of a spinning table saw. The caption reads Climate goals explained”.

There are red lines extending in front of the saw blade at various angles. The one to the left of the hand reads 0.5C. Red lines across the fingers are labeled 1.0C, 1.5C, 2.0C, and 2.5C crosses the knuckles. 3.0C crosses just below the wrist, 3.5C crosses just above the wrist, and 4.0C cuts halfway up the forearm.

At the top, a supertitle "HUMANITY WITH THE INTERNET"

Below that, two panes stacked vertically. In the top pane, Elmo (the Muppet) is looking at two things on a table in front of him. The item on the left side of the table is an apple, a pear, and some bananas, with the label "THE SUM OF ALL KNOWLEDGE" appearing over them. On the right side of the table is a pile of white powder, with the label "FASCISM AND CONSPIRACY THEORIES" appearing over it.

Elmo is looking intently at the white powder.

The bottom pane is the same scene as the top pane, but this time Elmo has fallen over onto the table, planting his nose deeply into the pile of white powder on the right.

There is no conspiracy.
There is no cosmic mystery
There's no "both sides".

Every problem on earth makes sense once you accept that...

1) We built a society where everyone is run and ruled by money
2) Those with the most money can never have enough money.
3) These people are totally fine with anything bad that might occur as a result of pursuing more money - up to and including mass death, disability, destruction and the eradication of any race, any country and species... Even their own.

That's it. That's the secret.
No one is coming to help.
Holding out for a hero is purely self-indulgent laziness.
History is occurring with or without us — every second.
We are the people we need to fix this.

From the excellent book by Timothy Snyder, "On Tyranny" (timothysnyder.org/on-tyranny)
A quote from "On Tyranny" by Timothy Snyder (https://timothysnyder.org/on-tyranny):

"1. Do not obey in advance. ... Most of the power of authoritarianism is freely given. In times like these, individuals think ahead about what a more repressive government will want, and then offer themselves without being asked. A citizen who adapts in this way is teaching power what it can do."

Is YCR using an AI to crank these out nowadays? These memes were really sparse for a while, and now they're cranking out 2-3 new titles every day. Something changed over there.
A ca. 17th century musical ensemble is playing. A man dressed in black in the upper left plays a flute. A man playing an antique string instrument is standing in the back on the right. A man sits in the lower right, dressed in red, playing a cello. In the lower left is a well-dressed European lady is playing harpsichord with sheet music nearby.

It's the cover of a children's book by Your Childhood Ruined, called "Songs That Make Your Naughty Bits Juggle"
