Card illustration painted for @beyondworlds.bsky.social Probably one of the most fun paintings I ever got to do! :) AD: Hakim Pettes
We’re in a pleasant forest setting, with lots of greenery and the sun peeking through the canopy. We see tree houses made of natural materials on the trees.
A young, dark skinned elf is running madly towards the camera, laughing. He’s holding a chicken under one arm and a rope strung with strange berries in the other hand. A whole flock of chickens is following him, apparently crazy about the berries.
The chaotic scene is being watched by two shocked bystanders.

I had the pleasure of painting this illustration for @beyondworlds.bsky.social recently. :)
Four pikemen in uniform are advancing towards the camera in a smoky setting. In the background we see the roofs of a town and several smoking chimneys. The image is framed by the hands of the clearly agitated observer, shielding himself from the sun and the view of the guards.

The talented @cristianaleoneart.bsky.social created this great fantasy illustration for us some time ago. Now it serves as the cover for one of our spin-offs. The spin-off is btw free available on our website (in German). Thank you, Cris!

An illustration I had a lot of fun painting for @beyondworlds.bsky.social some time ago: Archers from Kuer. :)
Two elven archers enjoy a meal on the riverside. Behind them we can see a placid river and a medieval town's market square. The archers are chatting and sharing chicken thighs and a purple fruit pie.

Artwork background story: This repurposed penja distillery has its hardworking days long past. Until about 20 years ago people used to make all sorts of delicious brandies and liqueurs in here. But since housing became increasingly scarce, the building has been modified into an accommodation.

Join us on our steep journey along the "Pass to Blossom Groves". West of Fennquell the delicious purple "penjas" grow on trees in these groves. They can be made into all sorts of sweet delicacies, for example the famous penja liquor. Artwork by JaqenArt (who is not in the blue sky yet. Why?)

Worldbuilding needs great maps! Here is a new one of the town of Fennquell. Many Fenn believe their goddess Fendiril once chose Fennquell as the root of their civilization, drawing the river Eimh through the landscape from here. Very modest, isn't it?
