The islamic regime of Iran are criminals, not even Iranians are rooting for them, only muppets and terrorists.

Iran has just murdered over 30,000 of its own citizens. Iran is one of the worst places to live in the world. Trump vs. the Islamic Republic of Iran are two monsters fighting one another. No support for the Islamic Republic from me!!!

I am deeply appalled & disgusted by Denmark's recent actions in the European Parliament regarding "chat control". I will boycott Denmark as long as Humelgaard holds a government post. Hands off my private chats, publish your own private emails/messages instead, PH. No to totalitarian surveillance.

It must indeed be taboo. The question is why certain politicians with totalitarian tendencies, especially those from Denmark, get away with it and try to push it.

🇩🇪 Germany is AGAINST Chat Control: Jens Spahn: "We as the CDU/CSU parliamentary group are against indiscriminate monitoring of chats. That would be like preemptively opening all letters to check whether there's something illegal in them. That's not acceptable, that won't happen under our watch."

Germany voices opposition to Chat Control, tilting the balance.

Well, I would assume that "aid package" means free for the recipient. So, perhaps they have got intel that Ukraine is winning and are now slowly adjusting and starting to bet more on Ukraine.

-> And from what I have read, their current deficit is closer to about 20% - but this probably means some refineries have to work above their "recommended specs" - which potentially may lead to accidents or technical problems.

100

Beyond the Horizons @beyondthehorizons.bsky.social · 01/10/2025

Well, it is more complicated. Shut down capacity is not the same as their current deficit. The refineries didn't work at full capacities to produce the quantity from before the war. They can compensate to some degree by increasing output at intact refineries. What counts is their current deficit. ->

Mr Bledsoe is allegedly able to "summon" them. It means: controlled conditions. And yet, there is no serious effort to produce high-quality, unambiguous footage. There is no effort to investigate it with proper scientific equipment. What we get is: "buy my book", "buy my merchandise". A farce.

Early materialist scientists "escaped" into that physical realm and left the "soul stuff" to the church, simply to avoid persecution and potential death. They learned to coexist with the church and didn't touch that domain. Only much later, atheism gained more popularity.

100

Beyond the Horizons @beyondthehorizons.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

Christianity is not strictly materialist, but it believes in a materialist world composed of physical matter + souls and entities from another realm operating in that physical reality.

100

Beyond the Horizons @beyondthehorizons.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

No, it is not idealistic. Because in Christianity that created matter has a standalone physical existence, independent of that mind and not inside that mind... Christianity is actually closer to materialism than to idealism. Buddhism and Hinduism are closer to idealism than Christianity.

100

Beyond the Horizons @beyondthehorizons.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

Here's a tip: ask your ChatGPT a question similar to this: "In the light of recent progress in quantum physics, do you think materialism (or rather physicalism) is in a great crisis and can collapse as a dominant paradigm in the foreseeable future?" The answer that I got would probably stun you.

100

Beyond the Horizons @beyondthehorizons.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

The church was never idealist. The church has always insisted that the material world has real, objective existence outside the mind of the perceiver. The church strongly rejected idealism. Catholicism isn’t strictly materialist, but it is deeply affirmative of matter as "created by God".

Check out what Federico Faggin - the inventor of the microprocessor - has to say. He gives many long interviews on YouTube and is very generous with his time. His road to idealism is very interesting. Just one link here, you might find better interviews though. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVS3...
