gotta say I like the platform of @beyondtheballot.bsky.social NOTHING MATTERS WITHOUT A PLANET
POLITICS IS ABOUT POLICY
AND POLICY IS ABOUT PEOPLE.
If we are going to build a more equitable society, we will need to organize the kind of necessary public pressure that twenty-first-century issues demand. Our problems won't be solved by any one leader alone, it's going to take a multi-generation, multi-racial, and multi-class movement led by ordinary, everyday people. It's up to our generation to make progressive policies not just mainstream, but a reality in communities across the country. Now more than ever, we need to build a nation that prioritizes human need and a habitable planet over corporate profits and wealthy Wall Street investors.

We asked @abdulelsayed.bsky.social , Beyond the Ballot’s endorsed candidate for US Senate in Michigan, for his stance on ICE. His response? Abolish it. Michigan deserves leaders who are willing to challenge the system, not manage it. And that’s why Gen Z is all in for Team Abdul.

I’m honored to announce another endorsement showing both my steadfast commitment to working people and young Nebraskans. "Jayden has shown that politics can still be rooted in compassion, courage, and community. That’s why @beyondtheballot.bsky.social is proud to stand with him."

Cancel culture isn’t just a hashtag, it’s the go-to weapon of the very crowd that cries about it the most. The loudest critics are now its biggest champions, using corporate power to muzzle dissent. Demand Jimmy Kimmel Live! be reinstated: beyondtheballot.org/endcensorship

🚨 BREAKING: The same corrupt forces tanking our economy and stripping our rights away now want zero limits on how much cash their parties (and billionaire/corporate donors) can flood into our elections. This effort isn’t about free speech, it’s about buying power.

BREAKING: THE SUPREME COURT WILL TAKE UP A REPUBLICAN-LED APPEAL TO ALLOW PARTIES TO SPEND UNLIMITED AMOUNTS OF MONEY IN FEDERAL ELECTIONS

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS ASKING THE COURT TO BUILD ON THE DISASTROUS 2010 SCOTUS RULING CITIZENS UNITED V. FEC, WHICH ALLOWED CORPORATE FUNDED SUPER PACS TO SPEND UNLIMITED AMOUNTS OF MONEY IN SUPPORT OF PRO-CORPORATE POLITICIANS. THE CASE WILL BE ARGUED IN THE NEXT SCOTUS TERM, LIKELY IN FALL 2025 OR EARLY 2026.

Wonder why legacy media and the political establishment is in panic mode after last week's victory in NYC? 18 to 24 year olds were the LARGEST share of voters in the NYC mayoral primary last Tuesday. Proof that when young voters turn out, we win.

Wealthy executives have been exploiting the H-1B Visa Program to undermine American workers for years. Let’s unpack… 1/4 🧵

HOW CORPORATIONS USE THE H-1B VISA PROGRAM TO UNDERMINE AMERICAN WORKERSGraphic reading:

WHAT IS THE H-1B VISA PROGRAM?

In summary, the H-1B Visa Program allows employers to temporarily retain foreign workers in specialty occupations, typically those that require specialized knowledge or a four-year degree. While the program was intended to fill labor shortages and certainly has its benefits, wealthy corporations have exploited the rules to undercut the pay of American workers by hiring immigrant workers at lower wages for longer working hours.

The far-right just unveiled their intent to cut SNAP & Medicare benefits for millions of Americans. While many struggle to pay for groceries & healthcare, government should be in the business of making these things more affordable, not more expensive. ACT NOW ➡️ beyondtheballot.org/safetynet

The Far Right is Planning to Cut SNAP & Medicare to Pay for Tax Breaks for Billionaires & Large Corporations.

Wealthy politicians are trying to further increase the cost of groceries and healthcare for the most vulnerable by attacking some of the most popular social programs. Let's show Congress that the people will organize to defend our earned benefits.
