A couple of years ago, I visited Kauai as part of my 50th birthday trip. While there I stayed at the Sheraton Kauai Resort in Poipu. Earlier this week they suffered some extensive damage from Hurricane Lowell. The amazing staff of this beautiful resort are in my thoughts.

Sometimes the sites people travel far to see are close by to home. This past weekend I took a day trip to Plymouth MA, just an hour south of home, and visited the replica of the Mayflower. Ironically, I was there on September 6th, the day the Mayflower left on it's journey back in 1620. #travel
