![The Grand Jury, through the District Attorney's Office, made written requests to the family of Mr. Wells and their legal team to produce any evidence collected in their independent investigation into the death of Mr. Wells.

that their investigation revealed no witnesses or evidence "whom the legal team reasonably believes possess information germane to potential criminal activity that warrants referral to your office [the District Attorney's Office]." Further, the family did not request that any "additional document, recording, photograph, digital media, report, or other material in the legal team's possession be submitted to the Grand Jury."
