Still plenty of interest at a certain hobby store in a little corner of Scarborough!

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Glad I went with gold for this detailing work in the end! I feel like the off-white Nighthaunt I'm putting on it will really pop next to it. #paintingminiatures #miniaturepainting

The top section of a huge pirate ship model. The wood is painted in blues and greens and there are ornamenatal details painted in gold

That's such a gorgeous thing to do!

Ohhhhhhh 🤦‍♀️😂😂😂

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

And you've painted her perfectly! I think the Black Coach was my favourite thing ever to paint.

I'm really sorry you're having a rough time of it lately 😞

000

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Wow! That looks incredible. All the details and metal are gorgeous

110

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

I think about that, yes, once all the masts are up 😂

010

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Isn't it just! Do you have photos of yours? I'd love to see a finished one!

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Got some of the wood detail done on the bottom section, and I'm happy with how it's looking so far. My plan is for it to be a haunted ship, filled with frolicking #warhammer #Nighthaunt ghosties. #paintingminiatures #miniaturepainting

The Reaper Bones pirate ship model in pieces on a table. The top section has been highlighted with shades of green and blue

Over 3ft long when assembled 😬

110

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

I'm gonna have to actually use a spray can to undercoat this monster!

010

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

And so it begins. Thoughts and prayers gratefully accepted during this trying time. #miniaturepainting #paintingminiatures #tabletopwargaming

The pieces, unpainted and unassembled , of Reaper Bones 3ft long pirate ship. There's a lonely bottle of paint in front of it for scale.

Same! I never really looked at them before I got a Coach, but now I'm planning on using them in my next diorama, and I wouldn't mind a little army either.

010

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

That looks awesome! One of my all-time favourite models.

110

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

I'm hoping to get started on it this weekend!

010

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Thanks, Tony 😊 It's been a really fun project. Next up is the Reaper Bones Pirate Ship. All 3ft of it. . .

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Thank you! 😊😊 Yeah, I would really love for it to be used in a game!

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

It's finished and in the cabinet at work! It looks so bright and shiny in the photos, it's weird. It's much nicer in person, a bit more muted and matte! #paintingminiatures #miniaturepainting #babayaga

Got the rat ogre and Baba Yaga's Hut finished today! And I've already started writing my next #ttrpg idea! It's been a good day. #ttrpgcommunity #warhammer #bloodbowl #miniaturepainting

Thank you! I wanted this model for ages and always planned to make it into a diorama

010

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Doesn't it just! If you ever find a cure, please let me know! I did just finish a manuscript today though, so maybe I'll be able to take a day to do something fun as a reward (she says whilst writing the structure plan for the next project).

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Literally me all the time, too. I just don't seem to be able to relax lately.

110

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

That sounds fun! And the dwarf looks great!

010

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Oh wow! It looks INSANELY good! The wings are absolutely incredible.

100

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Awwww, thats awesome! I've wanted a replica Thundercats sword for AGES!

020

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

I'm what I call a "periodic extrovert" 😂 I'll be all social one day, and quiet the next. Yeah, I'm a lot more comfortable if I have a purpose when talking to someone. Sadly I won't be there, but thank you 🙂. I really want to start getting to some cons soon!

110

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

I can understand that. I'm the same way. I run a games store so I'm just used to being on that side of things. Think I'd be overwhelmed to just be left to my own devices wandering around!

140

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

I've never seen one like that before. It's amazing!

110

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

Oh, it's been a innuendo-filled couple of sessions 😂😂

110

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

I do bake gingerbread every Christmas, so I reckon I could probably make an edible warband. Might try it this year! 😂

110

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

It's such a great model, and so much fun to paint. I need to find some tiny pumpkins to stick on the porch next.

010

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

Thank you! I always thought autumn was the prettiest season

010

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

Managed to get a bit of lichen and some fallen leaves on today. I'm liking how it's going so far. #miniaturepainting #reaperbones #wargames #wargaming #tabletopminiatures

These are great! And I absolutely love the blood-stained sacrificial stone in the centre of the circle!

110

Bex Rolls Dice @bexrollsdice.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

Same! I love that time of year. Everything looks so beautiful and it feels so cosy. I'd love to see your Bayonet stuff. Do you have any photos?
