i had something small to eat this morning, but i didn’t have anything for lunch luckily i’m not taking any tki medication yet as the doctors are still working out a new treatment plan if i can just get food for tonight that would be amazing - i’ll try to go without the painkillers ❤️

hey friends, i’m sorry i just needed a beat to come to terms with the results of my CT scan. the tumor has spread to the peritoneum and i now have stage 4 GIST (gastrointestinal stromal tumor) with peritoneal metastases. my doctors are working on a new treatment plan. i’m scared.

today i had the strength to take a look at my financial situation and it’s not looking good overdue: hospital minimum - $1221 utilities (my share) - $84 due thursday: remainder of CT scan costs - $1450 due on 20th: rent + other half of security deposit - $1420 i also need food & painkillers 😔
