I was attempting a #digimon beatbreak version of my tamer and Impmon.

Bex COMMS OPEN @bexatthedesk.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I "accidentally" got back into #digimon recently, and drew my Impmon. He is revered by his gang but he is but a child XD. Also during the course of my original fanfic idea, he's got a lot of trauma. Don't worry, his tamer gets to help him heal.

What makes this worse is for those who are JUST NOW starting to share their work. Artists like Loish are, by chance, lucky to have this long history pre-GenAI. (Obviously no one could've predicted this.) I worry about artists who have no historical evidence. We need to stop witch hunting by default.

What fantasy details would people want? Wing, a animal as a familiar, enchanted setting, or creature transformation?

Fursonacon sketchbook swap! Since it was a bit last minute I didn't have reference so I asked people to draw their characters in my sketchbook. Thanks to Azur (@amurman.bsky.social), Senn (Eva_Cinders), and Viseryn (@nuregator.bsky.social)

"doodles" I did at my booth at fursonacon. Been trying to retrain myself to draw when I get "bored" instead of surfing the web.

I think a lot about the stories that shaped me growing up—especially crossovers like Kingdom Hearts or Tsubasa Chronicles. What stories or world shaped your imagination growing up?

I struggled to really design this orimmar underground until I got a few pages in, mainly because it didn’t have a lot of character at first. It wasn’t until I really fleshed out how the ritual site was going to work that the rest of the compound started to come to life.

I’ve never wanted to just make a story, I wanted to build a world with deep symbolism. That's why I put my friends and I in my stories—for connection. I found out all I wanted was to be the hero, and to share my journey with my friends. I wonder, what stories matter to you?

Shreeko has changed more than anyone else in the story so far. He’s lost, learning the ropes, then plunged into a chaotic world where some villain is telling him things about his past that make no sense. But he's learning! Comment below if you spot any other big character changes in the story!

Surprise #Smaugust 🐉✨ I had this accordion style sketchbook laying around, I felt big Copics itch and decided to jump in. I don't follow any prompt lists and I definitely won't be making these daily but if I can make 2-3 per week I will be very happy! [ #dragon | #art | #sketchbook ]

By page 97 the dynamic between Xosk and his shadow starts to show tension. I wanted to show how tentative their alliance actually is—and it is an alliance—with how Xosk only looks at him at certain times. Can you guess what those times are?

So mad at Pintrest right now (shocker). They labeled two of my art posts as AI modified, and yet BOTH were created and uploaded long BEFORE genAI existed. I'm SO MAD. made "By the Poolside" in 2018 and "A Walk on the Beach" with it's companion piece in April 2022 as a gift for my mother.

Hey, instead of yelling at people about not using Alt text, if it's really important with you, post the alt text in comments. Accessibility is important, yes, but let's not forget that people have different levels of energy to provide them. It is not always malicious intent.
