This is M 8 on the bottom (a.k.a Lagoon Nebula), above that is M 20 (a.k.a. Trifid Nebula), and up and to the left from there is the open star cluster called M 21 (a.k.a Webb's Cross). If you want to see it in full resolution: app.astrobin.com/i/61rgwr #astrophotography #lagoonNebula #svbony #zwo
Two nebulae and a star cluster. It's mostly red/pink with a bit of blue. Many of the stars are bluish also.

Help, #PlantSky! Is this thrips damage? I see very tiny insects but they're too small for me to be sure of the details. I've attached the best photo I could get of one or two of them. Thank you so much for any assistance 🙏 #PestId #PlantPests

Started on Abell 21 (Medusa Nebula) last night. It's just 30 min exposure! (80mm doublet refractor, asi585mc-air, HEQ5 mount, SVBony 7nm NB filter, taken in Bortle 4 about 50min from home before moonrise.) Image quality is compressed do lmk if you want to see a better version. #astrophotography

This is the Rosette Nebula. It's about seven hours of combined exposure time. I'm very happy with it :) #astrophotography
It's a round, dark pink nebula with a thinner spot in the middle, vaguely resembling a flower, hence the name "Rosette"

I'm trialling top-flight #astrophotography tools and it shows! This is about the best thing I've ever done. Also a factor: 2.5 hours in a darker sky area. This is the Triangulum Galaxy, also known as Messier 33. (If you want to see the full resolution image, go here: app.astrobin.com/i/oek0ej)
It is a galaxy, spiral and kind of fuzzy. It's against a field of stars, some of which are larger than others, and some of which are white, some of which are blue and some of which are orange.

@cnn.com what do you think boycotts do? They add pressure by causing discomfort. It's doing its job. I'm a lot more worried about people who need to fear for their lives because of Trump administration policy than I am about business owners who probably voted for this anyway. Grow a backbone.

The larger bright spot is the galaxy core. The one with the arrow is the #supernova. Last month, it was as bright as the galaxy core! This is part of a group called NGC 7331/Deer Lick group. I have also included a wider view. There are a ton of small, faint galaxies in that shot. #astrophotography

I had to buy a vacuum cleaner today, and while in the aisle, I noticed in the wet vac area that there is a packaging design genre of "guilty dog". Bluesky only allows four images, but I assure you there were far more than four.
