The technical report said this protected tree in a conservation area in Enfield Town could be maintained, it was not dangerous, and the planning policies said it should have been kept, but the council allowed it to be cut down anyway.

There’s a thing with local government in which they put people in bad housing hoping they refuse it so that they can declare those people as having deliberately made themselves homeless and therefore absolve themselves from their legal obligations to help homeless people
