Alastor tracks his shadow to an alley covered in blood, he jokingly assumes Vox is playing hide and seek. His shadow leads him closer to a dumpster, ignoring the bodies of other sinners

A: aha! So hide and seek today? I must admit, I wouldn’t have expected this spot! It doesn’t suit you!
A: Blood… still wet, was there a fight?
A: Voooox~ What, licking your wounds? Come now, Vox! You’re it!

Alastor discovers Vox’s body inside the dumpster. His calm demeanor unravels at the sight, fueled by visceral rage. Vox warbles and glitches a response.

Something inside Alastor snaps, and he shifts into full demon mode, cradling Vox

Vox wakes up from being regenerated violently. My headcanon is that when Sinners regenerate, they experience the same pain as how they died in life, so Vox gets electrocuted every time. If Alastor were to die and respawn, he’d wake up to a mindsplitting headache

Vox recalls what happened

A: care to explain how you ended up in the trash? Lose your life in a turf war?
V: ah fuck, nah it’s more embarrassing than that
A: enlighten me, would you?
V: I was working in my office messing with my body upgrades. I contracted this fella from Hell’s fair who specializes in bioengineering. He’s been helping me combine my hardware with synthetic stuff. Something got jammed and I shut down. I rebooted after a few days, I think? Turns out, I missed my scheduled maintenance and I was running out of time. Dragging myself out, I must’ve looked like easy prey

Broken scattered panels of a fight between Vox’s and a random sinner. The sinner plunges a knife into Vox stomach, Vox uses his cable to smash the sinner against the wall and hang him up

V: and then…

Vox climbs into the dumpster to avoid any more predators, where he dies and regenerates over again, constantly reliving his painful death

WIP for part 3 and I might have to rate it 🔞😳😳 #murdermedia

Trying to figure out my horrible math between (fan)canon and history
Cuz in 1949 was the first weatherman in on the news but it was boring statistics
Gimmicks during the weather segment were introduced around 1970s so .. I’m just here wondering what did Vincent do in his youth? Maybe he’s always been working on the news as an errand boy and then moved up to weatherman before deciding to kill those above him
I’m also confused cuz then there’s a 15 year gap between Alastors death and the weatherman job so I’m like???
Either he was born later than I thought and thus (hypothetically) met Alastor when he was 18 or he was born before Alastor and died in his 70s

I like to think Alastors dislike for dogs grew EXPONENTIALLY after his death. While alive, his dislike for dogs is tolerable and Vincent’s puppy demeanor can be endearing. It’s in hell that after being ripped apart from dogs that Vox’s dog-coded disposition strikes a deep fear, revulsion and hatred in his bones
