Many years ago, I made myself some golf club covers modeled after the cats I had then. The main body of the covers were knitted but the ears were crocheted. I've seen fully crocheted patterns online. They're a pretty easy project but maybe not beginner level.

Had my MMR titers checked last month. I'm old enough that I had mumps and measles and my titers for those rock. Rubella was wimpy, but that didn't surprise me as I wasn't sure I'd ever had it. So if we have a rubella outbreak thanks to the brainworm dude, I'll be getting that reupped.

Yeah, it's all fun. I replaced the HVAC and had more insulation blown into this 1965 house when I moved into it in 2012, new water heater ca. 2016, replaced windows in 2018. One does what one can. But I really wanted solar and put it in last year come hell or high water.

Interesting distinction. I have dual fuel heating (gas furnace for days <30 F and heat pump otherwise), though I am seeing most benefit from the solar of course on warm days.

I put in a solar system last fall and now the company is trying to sell me a battery system as well. Is it worth it? I haven't looked into it at all. Though I'm pretty pleased with how low the electric bills have been.
