Consistency means more than perfectionGood habits, strong teaching routines, and positive relationships take timeIf you've had a bad lesson/day (or even if it just wasn't perfect)... don't worry! Reflect and learn what you can from it, then move on. What you do consistently matters more anyway.

My favourite activity at the moment: children can see the 10 words we are working on. I say 9 of them randomly, then they have to tell me which one I didn't say. Always goes well and they get to hear the vocab lots of times. Helps to prepare in advance 👍. #mflbluesky

Fun linguistics tidbit: Mark Hamill signing his name Mar🐫 because in English /p, t, k/ sounds at the beginning of a stressed syllable are pronounced aspirated, ie with an extra breathy sound (the same sound that's h when it's by itself) So Mark Hamill is pronounced the same as Mar Camel

My students this week have been practising with the read aloud / dictation toblerone! Pairs take it in turns to read to their partner, and write what their partner is saying. #MFLBluesky
Paper folded to make a triangular prism and standing up on a desk. One side says partner B and a short text in FrenchThe same paper from image one, flattened on a desk. Partner A and a short text is written in the top third, upside down. In the second third, it says Partner B and a short text. The bottom third is blank. There are lines separating the paper into thirds, to show where you should fold it to create the 'toblerone' shape.
