both state and federal law.
Stateside - they can decide how cannabis is sold, distributed, imported, and possessed.
"Dry" zoning areas would be mooted because medical cannabis should not suffer such restrictions.
On the federal side - cannabis should have a minimum age of consumption of 21 years old, meet TTB standards of taxation and labeling, meet FDA standards of food safety and additives, meet FTC standards of marketing which does not target youth, and be supported by the ATF in targeting criminal enterprises that do not meet the above standards.
I would support the Secure and Fair Enforcement Banking Act of 2026 which protects financial institutions that serve state-legal cannabis businesses.
Please vote for me, Beth Farnham, on November 3rd, so I can enact legislation that defines, regulates, and protects medical and recreational marijuana use.

Why don't I believe in setting term limits for Members of Congress? Because elections are term limits. "But, Beth," you say, "the same people keep getting voted in, even when they are not fit to serve." I agree with that. And the United States just went through a very weird time ... See more in ALT

which I term, "Schrödinger's Senator" when we didn't know whether or not McConnell was alive or dead.
I say, "No term limits," but I also say, "Members of Congress should be compelled by law to hold public, in-person town halls to which thousands of constituents attend and some ask questions live, on camera, to the legislator.
In other words, no more hiding from The People.
This way, we don't judge someone for being older, but we do judge their competence.
And the voters will share anything of concern, determining the fitness of a legislator based on real observation.
No more Mitch McConnells. No more Diane Feinsteins.
An informed voter is the best voter.
Please vote for me, Beth Farnham, on November 3rd so I can propose legislation like this to re-engage the voting public with the people who claim to represent us.

Why does my fight for Reproductive Freedom include national standards for sexuality education? Because the "Cornell 7" happens when schools teach that girls and women are as disposable as trash. In many unvetted "Sex Ed" classes, such as those taught by Crisis Pregnancy Centers (CPCs ... More in ALT
Picture of a Scotch tape dispenser.

there is often the "tape" lesson.
The premise is simple - each girl receives a piece of scotch tape and is encouraged to stick it onto the shirts or sweaters of as many boys as possible. After much giggling, everyone returns to their seats.
Then the girls are asked what's different about the piece of tape.
The answers vary from, "It doesn't work anymore" to "It doesn't stick anymore" to "It's worthless."
The lesson?
If a young woman is with too many young men, she will lose her worth.
In fact the awful, religiously-based, sex ed that I worked with others to remove from two public school districts in 2019 was titled, "Project Worth."
This is the kind of miseducation that contributes to the Cornell 7 and the like.
At the federal level we can institute national standards of sexuality education that are comprehensive, LGBTQ+-inclusive, and rooted in evidence -based science.
Please vote for me Beth Farnham so I can work with other caring legislators to provide quality instruction about consent, anatomy, contraception, sexually-transmitted infections, and more in ways that especially don't demean girls and women.
Together, we #ChooseDemocracy and real education!

Farm Visit “My family put the herd together in 1928.” Cows were eating “What’s this feed made of?” I asked the farmer, who had invited me to tour his dairy farm. Forthright & knowledgeable, he answered, “corn silage - fermented, hay/grass - fermented, ground corn (high moisture),” & ... More in ALT.
Picture of two cows.

surprisingly, “Purina pellets.” The exact combination is privileged information. Today’s bossies were clear-eyed, lowed harmoniously, & swished their tails in that casual way.
With 60-70 head of cattle, whose milk yields a 4.2 % butterfat content well over the 3.25% whole milk standard, this kind of farm was straight out of “All Creatures Great and Small.”
Did he name his cows, or were they just a number to him?
“Well, we got Blossom,” and some his daughter named after the Disney Princesses.
And where did his milk go? “Milk only flows East,” he explained: to Carlisle for butter & a good amount into Hershey’s chocolate.
Unfortunately, this local farmer, like many others, was suffering. When asked what the federal government could do, he answered, “Milk pricing overhaul.”
Did the January passage of the federal “Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act” help him?
He hadn’t seen it yet but was sure it would. Caught between low milk prices, high fertilizer costs (about $23,000/mth), & high diesel prices, the farmer has to balance how much corn he’ll sell vs how much he’ll turn into silage for his cows. Even though he’s done it for years & his employees are his family, it’s a struggle to break even.
Would he sell his property to get out of this difficulty?
The farmer looked across his hillside farm and said it could get a person, “a satchel
full of money, nothing else, a recipe to die.” “Context & relationships are extremely important in this world,” he added. After a jouncy ride, he reached the pinnacle of one field. The view was utterly stunning. It was clear, the farmer doesn’t leave because there simply isn’t anywhere as beautiful.
How could I do something for this farmer: vote to pass the Farm Bill & H.R. 9474 (Local Foods for Healthy Schools Act of 2026) when elected, but it just doesn’t seem immediate enough.
(Note: the farmer is unnamed in order not to single him out.)

What does propaganda look like? The anatomical models of fetuses at the prolife organization's table. These organizations aren't prolife, they're pro- forced birth. They use these models that are highly inaccurate to try to convince unsuspecting people that women and girls should ... More in ALT

suffer unwanted pregnancies.
As if a fetus is simply a baby, but a smaller size .
Since over 90% of abortions take place during the first 13 weeks, let's compare and contrast their models to actual fetal pictures.
Oh, look at that - COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!
And if these prolife organizations are lying about what a fetus looks like at a particular age...WHAT ELSE ARE THEY LYING ABOUT?
We already know that crisis pregnancy centers are not licensed healthcare centers, that the equipment is not inspected by the state government, that the workers are usually just church ladies in scrubs with a very fixed agenda.
You don't believe me?
Feel free to consult the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology about those facilities (https://tinyurl.com/yvxmeen2), or read the startling article about the Kentucky nurse who discovered expired disinfectant for the vaginal probes of the ultrasound (https://tinyurl.com/4nx64nw3)
Don't fall for the prolife claptrap.
People aren't going to adopt other people's unwanted children.
Take a look at the hundreds of children available at the Pennsylvania Department of Human Health services. https://tinyurl.com/2wptpsuh
Meanwhile, millions of other children go hungry in America alone which is why No Kid Hungry charity and others like it exist. https://tinyurl.com/ms9bba45
It helps then to understand that 60% of people who seek abortion identify as MOTHERS. They know what it is to sustain a pregnancy, give birth, then raise a child. They're saying, "I can't do this." And if they can't, you won't. You won't provide prenatal visits for them to go to, prenatal vitamins for them to take, childcare and/or time off of work as needed.
So don't fool yourself.
But do agree with the right of a person to make their own decisions about their own bodies.
And please vote for me, Beth Farnham, on November 3rd.
