just lectured genevieve on scratching at the blinds to scare off a feral kitty i leave food out for. told her to let the kitty eat because it doesn’t have a nice house to live in, and all the toys and treats she has. 2 min later this is where i find genevieve.

genevieve is my cat and in both pics she is in the bathroom sitting in front of the toilet for an unknown reason.

bought this shelter for the feral kitten i’m trying to befriend. saw it was a green shade close to the color of my house and that it’s insulated, and that it had what i thought were two ways out. turns out one is a window. when it comes, what can i do to make that a flappable exit?

until today when i got the chimney inspected, genevieve thought that was her play place and she would make little black paw prints all over the built in shelves where she likes to lay. she is currently across the room with her legs crossed and she seems pissed.

my cat genevieve seeing the fire through the fireplace screen that didn’t exist before today.

my house is either a key west style, which is a lot like a craftsman on the inside with built in shelves next to the fireplace. genevieve likes to lay there and then get on top of the fireplace to get to the other side’s built ins

genevieve is on her fancy chaise lounge bed in mid century modern style, as far away from the fire as she can possibly be.

this is my porch. it’s too cold in FL to be on it without a portable space heater, and i know nothing about them. needs to be easy to store for the 50 weeks FL is not cold. i do have an electrical outlet on the patio between the fist chair and the table in the foreground. would ❤️ suggestions. :)

if you’ve never gotten the bibigo dumplings, get those too. you microwave them in the package 2 min (do not vent the package!) and then cool 1 min, then cut open the dumplings and squeeze the soy mix on them. incredible. 6 trays in a box at costco.

i am a child of costco and love the bibigo brand dumplings and thought i would try the chicken and cilantro mini wontons in with my ramen and holy shit those are good. the cilantro flavor is strong, so you need to love cilantro. trying to think what else i can add them to.
