Just saw this set on eBay which brought back lots of memories. I loved this set

Fisher price little people camper van which has an upside down boat on the roof with the plastic little people figure of the blonde haired woman in blue, the bald man in green, the baby with a yellow bib & two of the black & white dog figures, plus plastic furniture including a rocking horse, a changing table, a cot, a picnic table, a push chair and a ladder.

The best things on my patio right now. The Salvia Amistad still flowering. The plumbago is just getting to the end but puts on a brilliant display every year. Begonia glowing embers is another old faithful.

Salvia Amistad has tubular purple flowers with a black calyx (if that’s the right word) against green leaves. This one has a number of flower spikes in bloom.

Plumbago has the palest lilac blue five-petalled flowers which grow in clusters at the end of stems. This picture shows three flower clusters against lighter green leaves.

Begonia glowing embers has leaves which are such a dark green they are almost black. It is covered with star-like vivid orange flowers with a yellow centre.

It seems that the bare root echinops I planted last year did not actually die, but is alive & well (or well-ish)!

We have no idea what this little horror has been up to last night to get himself into this state. He is naturally a ginger & white cat, there is no black in his fur at all.

A ginger & white cat with dirty blackish grey smudges over his nose, mouth, paws and front. From his mid forehead, back over his ears he is almost completely black, like an older man with a very bad dye job.
