I hadn't done digital art in 20 years, and I will never do digital art again. Anyway, here's the sketch so far for my next photo study.

It's a sketch of my aunt based on a picture from around 2001. She's wearing shorts, a tank top, and sunglasses with her hair up. She's lounging on an undrawn big rock at the end of a hiking trail.

My grandmother took a photo of my mom's and her brothers' opened Christmas presents back in 1975, and I redrew it to send to her as a Christmas present this year.

People in Carfe Dort got to see my play-by-plays of working on this, but here it is finished! I made my dad a fathers day card using paper cut-outs of orioles.

Coincidentally I made a terrible comic yesterday without realizing it was #makeaterriblecomicday

This is a hastily drawn sketch. Two people walk up a sidewalk with half a person obscured behind the bushes at the end of the sidewalk, perpendicular to the two people walking. A standard poodle trails behind the obscured person.

The dog looks down the sidewalk at the two people walking. Her mom is no longer visible.

The dog, Delilah the poodle, sits in the middle of the sidewalk, expectantly staring at the two people walking. The leash is taut, and Delilah is being pulled a little to the left.

Delilah's mom peeks back out from behind the bushes to see what Delilah is sitting and looking at. One of the people walking (i.e. me) asks "can we say hi?"

I just realized I never posted @saltynametag.bsky.social's disco wizard complete with chest hair.

Salty's character Disco Wizard as pixel art. He's wearing an orange, flowy-sleeved top and brown, bell bottom pants. I will say I did see this flag, and that felt Florida man encounter-adjacent:

This is a picture of a Florida state flag, white with a red X through it and a state seal in the middle, but the state seal is covered by a large drawing of an open-mouthed alligator with the words "FREEDOM LIVES IN FLORIDA" out across the bottom of the flag in a swamp green color.

I haven't drawn lately, but I have been on a couple brief vacations!

This is a photo overlooking the southern coast of St John in the US Virgin Islands from Ram Head Peak. There's an arid rocky foreground, ocean in the midground, and a lush forest covering low-rolling mountains along the coast looking to the west. The sky is cloudy with a little bit of blue poking through here and there. It stormed on and off near Ram Head peak that day, but it never actually rained there on the most arid part where all the cactus grew.

My Secret Matcha gift for Javiscripter of their character that's based off of a Servine

This is a pixel art drawing of Pokemon. A tepig wearing a harmony scarf from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon stops and stares at a sassy servine character. The servine is walking and talking about something while the tepig is smiling and displaying a heart emote in a thought bubble. Tepig is just happy to be included.

People think of Oklahoma as flat and maybe even desert-like, but eastern Oklahoma is quite hilly and has many large lakes due to damming. Here's a video I also took in eastern Oklahoma by Lake Tenkiller that shows some of the westernmost Ozark Mountains.

Oklahoma 2019 Cherokee Nation and Osage Reservation

This is a photo of Lake Hudson in Oklahoma taken from the highway that crosses over it. The sky is mostly blue, the trees on the left bank are green, and the road barrier is low and made of gray horizontal concrete blocks.

This picture is of a field that's turning into a pond. The grass is tall, an electricity post sits inside the edge of the pond, and small ranch houses sit back in the trees along the horizon.

A degrading concrete pad sits in between two brick commercial buildings in a small town. Three vertical metal bars keep people from driving onto the concrete from the main road, but a rusted, old, door-less car sits on the far side of the concrete beyond the bars.

Cows stand in a flat field right next to a metal security fence with wire on top. The fence encloses a small utility station. The sky is blue, and the grass is green.
