Over the moon tonight about this and still too much adrenaline to sleep. My university has won their football (American) conference championship for the first time since 1967. And they are undefeated. #IUFB #Hoosiers

Tis the season for Grimshaw paintings. They seem especially relevant this time of year.

Sorry I’ve not been around much lately. Just taking some time away. Mental health and all that. Trying to keep my days politics-free until the late local news. It helps. So please enjoy these midcentury bathrooms, plus their alt-text, until I return. 😂

Powder blue mid-century bathroom, ca late 60’s/early 70’s. Blue shag carpeting, a blue sunken tub, and some groovy blue, green, & purple floral wall paper behind the tub. There is even a “frame” of the blue shag carpet around the mirror. I could live in this bathroom.

Midcentury bathoom, ca 1950’s or early 60’s. Pink tiled wall in bath/shower; a red/blue/white-checked tile lines the entire floor plus the tub/shower combo. There are red towels, plus pale pink, blue, and white ones. There’s A LOT going on here, trust me. Oh, and there’s also a blonde lady in pink silk moiré robe contemplating herself in the mirror. The room gives me a headache but I also kinda love it.

The Bee Gees dolls say hello. They were terrified I would torture them on Valentine’s Day with silly hats or flowers or something. So they ran away to a hotel and sent me this photo.

Remembering Maurice Gibb of The Bee Gees today, on the 22nd anniversary of his passing. He was just barely 53 years old when he died. Tragic.
