Yeah, that's VERY true. And, honestly, I've purposely built annoyance into my games in the past because it feels more fitting for the game. Like our island hex explorer game could be way shorter, but the length imitates the slog of survival, and leads to worse choices later. 🧡

Oh heck yeah! There's a like... "move your stuff from Itch/DriveThruRPG" thing you can do, too, that makes it a lot easier. It doesn't grab everything but it's a good start :D Also, I've seen you talk some about (presumably) what you're wrapping up, and I'm hyped for it!

Yeah. Critique is great. Generalized praise that could apply to any game at all is basically useless... But... There were a couple of awful things said there, and the overall vibe was hurtful, not helpful. "Maybe you could try this" is far better than "Ugh, why did you do that??"

For what it's worth... many jams aren't rated. Most of ours aren't, either. In unrated jams, there are far fewer comments. Often none. And I greatly appreciate you pointing that comment out in your post so I could handle it.
