a friend of mine ( @xanatostas.bsky.social ) and i did an art challenge based on a war thunder screenshot, with my piece being sorta delayed...but i'm happy with how it's come out. he had me do some art studies which helped with figuring out some blending stuff piercing the heavens

thought i'd share here a plane skin i've done for War Thunder, a modified and (mostly) cleaned up skin for the J32B based on one of the same design from life. inspiration kinda hit me outta nowhere to do this over last night get it from the WTLive forums here: live.warthunder.com/post/1177228...

here's another piece of one of our recent headmates (yeah we're plural), Kornephoros, a stone snake who's sorta like...a keeper of our memories we guess? hard to say design for him was inspired by a dream we had a few years ago, but only recently became its own person, primarily with drawing this

i'm happy with how the background turned out on this, but i feel i could've done more to detail myself in it...ah well. i still think it turned out quite great start with a strong and persistent desire

a skunk/elk hybrid squats besides a safety net on the side of a snowy mountain. it overlooks a valley below which has a river and multiple trees, a fog and overcast sky above it.

a new character of mine, a digimonsona based on Sangloupmon. i've named him Lich wears a leather jacket with a similar set of symbols like on his back and has a longer, fluffier mane sophrosyne

created myself a set of custom cursors for my computer themed after how games would change your cursor to a gauntlet. since i use my pc everyday, i may as well customize it some more (until my eventual move to linux where i'll do more) here's the set of them (not including mirrors) darkstone

you're more than welcome! and i'm glad i could invite you along a little bit last minute, but everything worked out good in the end! i'm hoping to see you again next year if we can plan things out just the same, and i can get myself a more proper outfit to wear with my kilt 'n stuff!

BetelgeuseBear @betelgeusebear.bsky.social · 14/04/2025

drew these last year sometime for a friend who didn't have a trollsona (on the left), which also made me wanna draw my own (on the right) so what other day than 4/13 than to post this i luv hamburgers & the new flesh

BetelgeuseBear @betelgeusebear.bsky.social · 22/10/2024

since i've been reading homestuck to my bf (and we've been enjoying it plenty) i thought i'd try to get back into some art with a doodle of him as a certain someone he loves from it as he's said, it's definitely him after some days teal seer

A purple dragon lays passed out among Mtn Dew bottles, Scalemates, and his twisted-up draconic cape while his skelk bf finds him in such a state

110

BetelgeuseBear @betelgeusebear.bsky.social · 07/12/2023

in the end, i love your work and i know ill still be around to see it grow 'n blossom into something big. highbrow, lowbrow, whatever man, be yourself with it and dont let those worries get to your head. could be going thru a rough patch that just takes longer than you know it, but youll get thru it

BetelgeuseBear @betelgeusebear.bsky.social · 07/12/2023

there'll be people here, whether on social media, in person, or elsewhere, who'll love your artwork when it comes out. maybe one day, as you said, it'll be something beautiful enough to make someone cry, or some ungodly abomination winning a beauty contest by making the judge's face melt off from it

210

BetelgeuseBear @betelgeusebear.bsky.social · 07/12/2023

you enjoy doing will get you the farthest in the end i feel, and although i've had my own art fears plaguing me now from time to time, i still power through it. hell even typing this out i think i gotta go a bit faster 'n looser with it like how you do with your sketchpages (again). in the end-

110

BetelgeuseBear @betelgeusebear.bsky.social · 07/12/2023

loving it, and enjoying what you do. whether its you drawing on the back of a coaster, cardboard, canvas or some napkin you found on the street, i'll enjoy it and you'll have an audience to help support and back you up through it all. you've inspired me with my own art in some ways. doing art that-

BetelgeuseBear @betelgeusebear.bsky.social · 07/12/2023

even if you feel like your art isn't good enough one way or another, and through reading some of your replies, it sounds like you'll get to hitting that medium of wanting to do what you want. art that is YOU splattered all over the canvas like a paint bucket, and either way, i'll still be here-

this has been a LONG time coming. motivation lately hasn't been the highest, but i'm glad to be finally done with it, having drawn it while watching The Pianist story behind it is that crux and petrichor narrowly escaped from a fight, repairing on an asteroid stay on target

after some thinking and from talks with some friends of mine, i thought id finally make my own pokesona, named Rotanev theyre a dragapult with some plushy dreepy to fire out, alongside an expanded dreepy launcher on the underside, to shoot even more! mainly a doodle to do it interdimensional life

011

BetelgeuseBear @betelgeusebear.bsky.social · 12/10/2023

i wanted to finally solidify that hadar's a vampire, in my own lil lore canon, and i'll have to write somethin' up for it in due tome, but have a piece of art to commemorate it! seems he got caught in the light, although you're not his first target... lost but never alone

after listening enough to some yume 2kki soundtrack stuff, i'm enamored by the frozen desert, and the penguin island that's there. so i drew a palletted piece based off of it, and im happy with how it came out! frozen desert
