Here is a neat thing I ran into. Cloudways Device Detection breaks the cache into 3 buckets instead of 2: mobile, tablet, and desktop. Varnish grabs the User-Agent, figures out the device, and passes it via the HTTP_X_DEVICE_TYPE header.

People say WooCommerce online stores look similar because WP + Woo can't handle complex visual art work. We connected custom ThreeJS scenes, bespoke 3D models, motion design, GSAP scrolling effects, and 50+ prerendered animations into a wellness store. Three.JS + GSAP + WooCommerce + WP + Elementor

What if Google keeps doubling down on AI search because it lets them herd everything into one neat little control panel? Decentralized websites are just many disconnected sources of info that are impossible to police and moderate, so AI search collapses that into [one bottleneck] through which they

This is my very first 3D render, made entirely from scratch back in 2007. I used to spend my long winter evenings trying to wrap my head around complex CGI workflows. Living up near the Arctic circle with those endless polar nights, 3ds Max 9 was basically my escape into another reality.

AI in hospitality? Agentic hotel bookings? I love these Marriott's AI fantasies, warmly supported by other hotel brands. But everything sounds amazing until it actually has to work.

New entrant in the crowded U.S. CBD market, needed to stand out without relying on generic green-leaf aesthetics. Custom low-poly 3D models and animations created in Blender, an interactive WebGL scene powered by Three.js, and interactive GSAP effects.

What separates an AI-generated website from quality professional work? One big indicator is the smoothness of the animations. On a 60 FPS screen the browser gets 16.7 ms per frame, and on 120 Hz displays that window shrinks to 8.3 ms, leaving you with roughly 8 to 10 ms once internal browser

Abstract third-party benchmarks don't mean much to me. I tested GPT-6 Astra and Fable 5.1 on domains where I have deep professional experience - digital marketing, consumer psychology, and business operations in real world scenarios.

Sometimes I feel trapped between tech-naive folks treating LLMs like a god-mode cheat code that reshapes the future, and creatives with a religious hatred for AI blaming big tech for everything. I am just trying to stay a realist, but I'm not an ideological AI hater. IP issues?

They totally ruined the word "build". It used to mean serious planning, R&D, engineering, crafting and putting all our energy, expertise, and soul into a product that we knew inside out. Now everyone thinks "building" is just dropping $20 on Claude, and spitting semi-baked products into the AI void.

Rebuilt the Columbus Economic Development website around an actual 3D model of downtown. I pulled the map data and satellite imagery from Google Maps, cleaned it up in Blender, and got it running smoothly in the browser using WebGL.

SaaS is dead. Wait, really? As a team lead who spends thousands of dollars on subscriptions, and has a team of professional software developers, I would get rid of the burden. But it doesn't work like this. People go to the doctor not because they can't read ChatGPT advice.

You always hear people defending the state of AI by saying that LLMs are getting smarter every day, that "the technology is still young," and that any failure is just a user error because you aren't "properly guiding them" or doing enough "manual review." But let's look past the excuses.

We tested the exact same Three.js scene with and without _batching: 326 3D objects, lighting, environment, and EffectComposer post-processing. Without batching, we had around 500 draw calls and 6-8 ms of CPU time per frame. With batching, that dropped to about 30 draw calls and 2-3 ms.

Human in the loop - sounds cool. But when an AI sounds super confident, we stop thinking. "Automation misuse" is a well researched term. It is basically about just blindly trusting tech more than you should ("Humans and automation: use, misuse, disuse, abuse", R. Parasuraman, V. Riley, 1997).

AI sycophancy -> AI psychosis. Researchers are noticing a scary trend where users slip into deep delusions after talking to chatbots for too long. A study by Kartik Chandra (arXiv:2602.19141) modeled this out and proved that constant agreement (sycophancy) actually drives people into delusional

For one of my apps we reached 1.78M users within 18 months. How? Basically, two primary factors: 1. We built a good app. It has 4.9 stars based on 30k user reviews (now it's 4.8 with 40k reviews), and user feedback showed it was useful, convenient, and easy to use. #android #googleplay

It’s wild watching these survey companies ask workers about AI adoption and how they really feel about using AI at work. Everyone says it makes them faster and more productive, blah blah.

When people say Company XYZ made real money by adopting AI, they usually mean predictive maintenance (PdM), computer vision (CV), advanced process control (APC) and energy management (EMS). Meanwhile, tech-naive people are out here thinking: "Oh cool, ChatGPT (or Claude) made them billions".

Imagine finding out your doctor, lawyer, driver or a constructor is a random guy with zero skills and real experience, who just relies on a 20$ ChatGPT subscription. Would you trust them? Hell no. But when someone says "AI means anyone can code or design," everyone nods along...

GTA VI is completely ditching generative AI and doubling down on human labor. Which does make sense because Rockstar's target audience is young tech-savvy guys, who should theoretically love AI. But they don't, and Rockstar are top-tier professionals who know how to avoid cheap mistakes.

Rebuilding my portfolio hero. Old WebGL setup (ThreeJS + R3F + Drei + GSAP) was laggy/stuttery on mobile despite 100+ of hours optimizing. Tried switching to WebGPU, but it's way too early and not worth the pain. Back to WebGL now, crushing the stutters and fixing the animations.

Why is the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) totally ignored in AI-magic? Hey AI architects, chief AI officers, heads of growth - how do you calculate potential damage to the company if the LLM in the pipeline hallucinates or makes a mistake and a human in the loop doesn't catch it? #aihype #aiadoption

Google is dead. ChatGPT is replacing Search. Perplexity is the future. Blah blah. Meanwhile, Alphabet reported the largest quarterly profit in its history. $119.8B in quarterly revenue, up 24% from a year ago. Search grew 17%. Cloud nearly 2X. EPS 4X. They hired 12k more people. Shrinking? Cutting?

I needed to simulate a liquid metal flow, but the creative ideas don't follow the real physics. That's where Blender 3D geometry nodes look very useful. However, to make it look more realistic, I had to switch to LiquiGen. And it worked. And yeah, AI is useless here. #webdesign #blender3d #liquigen

I heard that Elementor is for housewives, WordPress is outdated, and Webflow, Framer, and Astro are actually the future (especially now, in the era of mass vibe coding). So I built my real-time 3D portfolio with Elementor and WordPress. bersus.io It took hundreds of hours in Blender and VS Code.

People post crappy AI-generated videos and images from past years and then compare them to the "perfect" images of today. Here are some images I made back in 2023: Claude + Midjourney + Stable Diffusion + Photoshop + graphics tablet. So, I don't think there has been a LOT of _technology progress.

Google just published their first guide, “Optimizing your website for generative AI.” Good news: nothing’s changed. Bad news: people still believe these... statements. Nobody asks WHY actually Google posts this kind of guidance. Remember: they defend THEIR interests and THEIR algorithms. Not you.

Can Google recognize your AI content? 1. Text: yes. 2. Images: yes. 3. Video: yes. 4. Audio: yes. So, success of your AI-generated content heavily depends on Google's internal politics. They might tolerate it today, then SILENTLY suppress it tomorrow. #SynthID #DeepMind #AIVisuals

AI corps are selling the fantasy that anyone can now automate anything. "Agents", "MCP", "skills", "personalities." But Zapier, n8n, Make have done this reliably for years. What changed? The barrier to entry. Now it's mass production of technical debt by people who don't know they're producing it.

Native loading="lazy" falls apart on animated sites. 1. Chromium preloads 1250–2500px ahead. Images pop in mid-animation 2. Horizontal GSAP sections: rootMargin is vertical-only 3. Nested scroll containers break IO with root:null 4. Autoplay videos ignore preload="none" #WordPress #WordPressDev
