Does it really matter what programming language or framework you learn when entering the industry? Some people strictly advise to learn what's most popular. While I agree that learning COBOL or Lisp won't be my first choice in 2025, there are still more options than JavaScript.

This is an excellent command to determine why a transitive dependency is present in your project. Helpful if you want to eliminate unnecessary dependencies or find out why a known vulnerability is part of your dependency tree.

I try to stay on top of what's happening JS/TS web development and .NET. I use both for different projects and when I tend to use what I think fits better for a certain scenario. Do you think it's too much to keep up to date with two worlds?

You have to buy a hardware server for a web application and a database server in 2024... Is there a reason to go lower than current gen. 8-core, 64 GB RAM, and 1TB SSD? Should be around $2k per server. I'm not debating buying an on-premise server at this point because it's not my (bad) decision.

I lose so much time because of my monitor issue. 😔 I know it's not really a problem since I have two monitors left of the three-monitor setup, but it's so annoying not to understand what's wrong and what I can do to fix the issue... 😱 It drives me crazy.

What is the best forum/place to get help for a strange PC problem? One of my side monitors suddenly started having an issue: It doesn't show the lower fourth of the image. I tried different cables, HDMI vs. DP, switched GPU ports, etc. Strange thing: When I connect it to my notebook, it runs.

Implementing code as the basis for an article I will write took me almost two full days. 0 words written. It's not all fun or smooth sailing for most content creators. I'm not complaining - it's a journey I chose myself. As a consumer, it taught me to appreciate and value free content more.
