For the life of me, I can’t understand why Aaron Boone is refusing to play Ben Rice every day. An .880 OPS isn’t enough???

Assuming he stays productive, and Stanton actually gets healthy, I hope Rice will stay in the lineup somehow

Here’s the yearly “my guys” post. This time I have overall shares and then my Main Event shares. Did not expect to be the Dean Kremer guy but boring af is beautiful. Parker Meadows would’ve been on both lists if it hadn’t been for the nerve thing 🫥

Ben Tidd @bentidd25.bsky.social · 25/03/2025

Third and final Main Event of the year just wrapped up. Not my favorite of my three but I can work with it. It’s light in speed but hopefully Veen is up soon to take care of that

I got burned by Waxman utilizing it so many times in my OLAC last year lol

Ben Tidd @bentidd25.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

I was burned by it a lot in my OLAC from last year so I made sure to be on the other end of it this time around lol

Ben Tidd @bentidd25.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

I made sure to utilize the max bid in this auction and it definitely paid off with some players. The one player that stood out to me was when Yainer went for $19. I thought that was a great value

Ben Tidd @bentidd25.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

I wanted to see if I could get him at face value early lol I noticed that group of Stott Gimenez and Turang were pretty sought after. I was glad I was able to get Nico for $1 instead of them at those prices

Ben Tidd @bentidd25.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

I didn’t know you were in it! I was mad when you took Ortiz and Stott from me lol

Ben Tidd @bentidd25.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Last night was my first of two auctions that I’ll be playing this year and it also happened to be part of the #BubbaAndTheBloom listener leagues! Idk why I even planned for it because bidding on a $40+ player was not part of that plan…

Ben Tidd @bentidd25.bsky.social · 09/01/2025

I want to say this is the first time I’ve ever drafter a closer and catcher this early, but both positions feel lack depth. This is also one of the toughest rooms I’ve ever been in so I also wanted to make sure I didn’t get shut out down the road at either position

Alright fantasy baseball doctors, these are the teres majors (the muscle that Joe Ryan strained). Yet I’ve heard several people say he suffered a shoulder strain. I believe I’ve strained my teres major before and it sure felt like a back muscle. What do you think? 👨🏼‍⚕️

The following underlying metrics from 2024 belong to Christian Walker, Pete Alonso, and Matt Olson. It always fascinates me when players can be so similar across the board like this:

Ben Tidd @bentidd25.bsky.social · 04/12/2024

I think Zimmerman may have had this info

Ben Tidd @bentidd25.bsky.social · 02/12/2024

I think Steamer being the only available public projection system right now may be giving people some false expectations. Gotta be careful to not let these numbers be what immediately comes to mind during player discussions as the winter goes on
