I think there’s something I glommed onto as a kid reading this and also “Gulliver’s Travels” where both characters develop this attribute after their ordeals where they prefer being around animals to people, even non-intelligent animals. Like their ordeal was so harrowing, but home isn’t the same

Thinking about kids shows that terrified me - somehow this monster from A PUP NAMED SCOOBY DOO scared me so badly I could barely go upstairs alone. I also remember him being a vampire because of the teeth, but apparently he’s “The Ghost of Pierre Goulash?” It was in Daphne’s house too. #horror

Everytime I see the Lumon water tower, I think of this picture book I read as a kid where an alien entity is slowly replacing everyone in this dusty American town. There’s even an emphasis on the water tower logo being on everyone - even their skin. #severance #severancetheory #severancetheories
