I'm hoping we can drive more early signal back to upstream from our extensive CI + earlier customer prototyping on upcoming features. Going forward we'll have regular preview builds into early 1.38 and beyond. 🚀

You can now run Kubernetes 1.37 preview in GKE. Yes, OSS unreleased 1.37 😁 Alpha Clusters for now, try any API but the cluster has a 30 day limit so you don't depend before OSS is ready. Something I've been working on with a bunch of talented coworkers 🙂 docs.cloud.google.com/kubernetes-e...

Kubecon was great but this is the best part of the trip:

With sigs.k8s.io/kind + lima-vm.io on an M4 Pro it is faster to recreate the cluster after raising the system inotify limit than wait for crashloopbackoff 😂

Via @munnerz.bsky.social, I present to you "Bash Fire Service" 🧑‍💻🚒 www.variety.org.au/sa/people/ca...

This image features four people dressed in firefighter-themed outfits standing on a dirt path in a forested area. Behind them is a vintage-style utility vehicle with "Carmine's Vines" displayed on its front. The two individuals on the left are wearing yellow helmets, white T-shirts with "96 BFS" written in red, and shorts—one in khaki and the other in black with red suspenders. The man kneeling in the front is also wearing a red hat and yellow pants. The person on the right stands confidently with no shirt, red suspenders, orange pants, and a red helmet, holding a tool in one hand. The background consists of tall pine trees and dense greenery.

At the bottom of the image, there is a banner featuring the logos for "Variety the Children's Charity" and "Bash," indicating this could be an event related to the charity.

lol. Values are always quoted, but it's still YAML, just an opinionated subset from a formatting perspective. Didn't want everything to require new parsers etc.

Surely you're hallucinating all the braces now? /s In all seriousness: I hope this can auto-complete effectively in most editors, and more accurately than indent-focused approaches 🙃

My favorite Reddit comment: "Thanks, I hate it. It takes all the crap I hate about JSON (explicitly requiring a bunch of brackets and quotes) and puts it back in. It's better than JSON, and I see why this is better than YAML, but I still hate it." www.reddit.com/r/kubernetes...

This week I did IPL round 4 of 4 and then lid debridement + LipiFlow for the MGD / severe dry eye. This afternoon I'm sitting atop Mission Peak after months of struggling with everyday tasks. I've done *far* more challenging routes but this is the *hardest* hike I've ever been on. 😮‍💨 I'm so happy 🥲

My smile next to the mission peak summit post, with the San Francisco Bay Area below and behind me. I'm in sunglasses and a hat.

A wide angle view of the Bay Area from Mission Peak. In the foreground are gray stone and scrub, the sun hangs over the top center frame. The bay is shimmering.
