So about LaPorta's contract....

000

The Lions just don't do anything well. Doesn't matter if it's offense or defense. This team looks lost and disfunctional.

000

That's now three disallowed goals for the Habs vs Detroit. One in the first, one in the second, and now the GWG goal in OT. Detroit can still get a win here after stealing a point.

000

Tarasov has played his ass off tonight

000

JOSE RAMIREZ DID IT AGAIN. NO WAY!

000

Andrew Copp played the top of the diamond in the PK without a stick for about 45sec-minute straight and prevented multiple shots from the slot, and kept the play going. Absolutely impressive stuff.

120

The Habs have now had two goals disallowed, one in each period. Detroit is getting outplayed by a better team, but is catching all the breaks.

000

And the chants are back midway through the first...

000

These kits are the best ones, honestly.

000

The Belle Centre explodes in "We Want Larkin" chants

000

Dominoes sending a promotional email at 4:00pm (any day of the week, especially weekends) remains undefeated.

000

Why are you going for it on 4th-and-9 with over 4:30 left in the game, Matt? What are you doing?

000

Becker and Marsh were WIDE open there. W-I-D-E open. Nebraska's hopes are hanging on by a thread.

000

This game has been fun to watch.

000

Would this be the biggest win in Nebraska Football since when Eric Crouch played? Yes, yes it would be.

000

John Gibson isn't seeing the puck anymore. This is brutal. Four unanswered goals now and his night is done. Time for baseball, gang.

000

Wallinder gets his first of his pro career goal with a nice flick from the point. Now has two points on the year.

000

And sure enough, on the Power Play it shines through. Detroit getting pucks on net for rebounds has been crucial in this game. Ardvinsson puts a PPG on the doorstep for a 1-0 lead.

Really like how the Wings are attacking in the first period, tho there is nothing to show for it. Good tendencies being built early on.

Hard to overstate how much Hegseth's execution stream mirrors the U.S. military's traditional description of ISIS propaganda: broadcast killings designed to send a message, strike fear and create a social media spectacle. Will almost certainly be repurposed by online terror cells

Nobody benefits from something like this. These people are sick.

The sweaters are simple, but they look very clean and nice.

MLB is proposing returning to a 154-game Regular Season and best-of-seven Division Series

Schedule Changes

Beginning in 2029, MLB proposes return to 154-game season and 7-game division series as part of salary cap and floor system.

154-Game Regular Season - Would return to 154-game schedule with a standard off day every week.

Which Enables Best-Of-7 Division Series - Would expand the Division Series from best-of-five to best-of-seven, potentially adding up to 8 more Postseason games.

More Prime Time Postseason Games - Would add additional off days in Postseason to reduce weekday daytime Postseason games, while giving pitchers extra rest.

Nick Cousins chirping Larkin about losing his captaincy is a great chirp, in all honesty. Definitely got to Dylan as he left the ice.

000

Well...the offense is playing better. That's now three 5v5 goals tonight. Wings lead 4-1 over Ottawa, five mins into the 2nd

000

Also this audio/video lag on the MLB app is getting to be too much. There's no real way to correct it. Might have to cancel the subscription because of it. Makes the games unwatchable. (Yes the FanDuel/ Bally's app had the same issue at the start of the season)

Larkin getting boo'd every time he touches the puck is well deserved. Glad Hockeytown is showing him the love he deserves.

000

This is way, way, way worse than saying that America deserved 9/11. And both are absolutely abhorrent statements.

The chorus of boos when he touches the puck will be deafening

000

Also in the same breath...WOOOOOOO The Panthers still sit atop the NFC South. Bang the Drum and Keep Pounding!

000

Why are you trying to take kill shots when you have two WRs in JAMO and ASB who are exceptional at YAC on drag or mesh concepts? You needed to go the whole field in two minutes and you didn't even try to work it, Drew Petzing. Embarrassing. Utterly embarrassing.

000

elp, if you had Western Michigan having the best football team in the state on your bingo card....congratulations. You should buy a lottery ticket to both the Powerball and Mega Millions and retire.

000

There you go. Send in Bullrush Moore opposite of Hutch and start scaring the crap out of Carolina.

000

NFL Officials are drunk. That was grounding all day.

000

This is traditional Dan Campbell fourth down scenario. This upcoming run on third down won't mean much if Gibbs doesn't convert.

000

The Lions just need to send the kitchen sink at Young if Kelvin and Dan refuse to play zone. Knock him around. Start getting in his craw.

Cool, Cool, Cool - Detective Jake Peralta (B99)

So now not only do we not know what a catch is, but we know don't know what a "football move" is either. Cool.

000

That's a fumble and a TD for St. Brown.

000

Finally the Panthers dial up blitzes and force Goff to move. About time. .....yes, I'm also a Panthers fan. Tonight is going to be weird for me.

000

Just walk the ball in, TJ. The win would have been secured anyway, buddy. Go get your contract numbers.

000

This Seahawks, Chargers game really has it all, doesn't it? Well...except for a touch down...but yeah. You catch my drift.

000

Has a back-to-back interception to start a game ever happened before? Seems very, very rare...

000

This 5v5 problem Detroit has doesn't appear to be solved any time soon, and that's very concerning.
