I highly recommend them , there's a lot of stuff different in the remakes (for better and worse) that I think makes them equally worth playing . plus now they're on steam so its easy to get them

that combined with every single character pretending that the previous day just Did Not Happen gave the whole thing such a weird unsettling vibe in the background as well . I think it's much more effective than having everything go to shit immediately

after having finished the resident evil 2 remake I genuinely cannot decide whether that or the original 2 is my favourite RE game so far. they both do different things really well and I'm really glad I played both. Right now im leaning more towards Remake because of how the characters were explored

almost every supposed flaw i see people point out about the chapter is a positive in my eyes so it kind of further solidifies that this is in fact my favourite chapter so far

seeing criticisms of deltarune chapter 5 talking about how its too jarring of a tone shift to go back to a silly adventure at this time and how its bad that everyone is just pretending chapter 4 didnt happen .. i feel insane because did this not read as extremely intentional and effective for many

was watching a vhs recording of star wars episode 1 in a vc and since it was fox in 2004 it had an ad for a terrible reality show that's basically the bachelorette except there were gay men among us impostors. it had a fucking gaydar clip and we all burst out laughing it was just so insane

Discovered a seemingly rare easter egg adobe must have put into premiere at some point where on rare occasions it will just close itself without saving, kinda like a golden freddy jumpscare. I love random events like that, it really adds to the horror atmosphere and keeps the player on their toes

that being said this overcorrection is a far preferable outcome to the previously popular viewpoint of skyler being such an awful character that everyone hates so much as to send the real life anna gun death threats . like Yeah i'll absolutely take "skyler did nothing wrong" over that

i'm glad people generally have a much more positive view of skyler white nowadays, but i also cant help but think the fairly common "skyler did nothing wrong" sentiment is really reductive to her character . she does a Lot of things wrong, and thats why she's so interesting !!

do you guys like my top 5 video games 😃

Its like so obscenely close I just think the key and some of the instrumentation in 2nd sounds better . A combination of both songs (that and the third sanctuary's time signatures plus its final section) would probably top the world revolving for me

i like spamtons songs but many others are better imo . NOW’S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A is my favourite of his

good news is that is absolutely my favourite chapter 2 song and it was #23 . it Just missed the top 20 😭

zero chapter 2 songs .. #UNFORTUNATE .. great chapter but sadly i only like its soundtrack a positively normal amount

maybe i will .. which is funny because ive like Unanimously heard that the remake is apparently worse . this might be my insane opinion of the franchise when i eventually get to it

bensilly @bensilly.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

after finishing resident evil 3 , sadly i think the first half is far better than the second half . so many parts are lame or annoying and it really drags it down for me which is such a shame .. i think it couldve been my favourite if the whole game was as good as the first half
