Dropout's Game Changer and Make Some Noise seem very similar at first glance but they're fundamentally different. You see one is an improv comedy game show where @samreich.bsky.social sits on the left and the other is an improv comedy game show where @samreich.bsky.social stands on the right

If anyone from Apple developer relations wants to clarify this, please do 😅

It seems like everyone who went to an iPhone Duo workshop is a little unclear on the NDA situation. We didn't sign one in person, but the overall developer agreement says not to disclose anything confidential. But a lot of developers have questions it would be nice to answer.

The activity also lets you easily undo an action you made by mistake, without having to scroll around to find the original post, cancel a queued post, or retry a failed post. It's super handy. That's all for now, I'm sure we'll have lots more tweaks for the Duo in the coming weeks!

The other feature is one I teased a few days ago. Moving to London meant spending a lot of time underground, which meant having no signal, which meant many interactions would time out and fail. So we fixed that with an Activity Queue (Tube Mode wasn't as catchy).

One challenge we had was how to handle the full screen timeline carousel on an asymmetrical display and I'm really happy with how this animation / interaction turned out

Indigo 1.3.5 is out now, with two very exciting new features! iPhone Duo Support We've made a bunch of tweaks to Indigo's toolbars and tab bars and overall layout to fit the Duo's sidebar approach. No doubt this will evolve over time as we get used to the new paradigm, but it's a good start.

Croissant 2.5 is out now! This update is mostly about bringing it up to speed with Indigo, here's what's new - Improved Magic Mentions - Added Magic Hashtags - Added Apple Intelligence image description - Show the active account/group name as the view subtitle - Bluesky OAuth - UI Improvements

Does the Bluesky development team communicate their priorities somewhere? What are those priorities? Do they include helping users secure their accounts to prevent fraudulent account takeover?

In my mind it's less about the ephemeral stuff (but maybe automatically archiving certain things would be neat) and more for the kind of stuff that just doesn't have a good home otherwise

Well this is mostly just using Apple's serif typeface and I chose a gold-bronze colour that looks like the colour of keys ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The response to this on Bluesky and Mastodon was largely positive but on Threads just so much negativity that's really hurt the enthusiasm I had yesterday

Ain't that always the way 😬

It looks like you haven't updated it in 3 years?

When you say "multiple versions of software" what exactly do you mean? Like multiple licenses for a single app?

4. If I do launch this, I was thinking around $10 one-time-purchase, how does that sound?

1. Yes, this is largely LLM coded, sorry. 2. I'm no security expert so this really, *really* is not intended to be a password manager. 3. I think of it like a junk drawer. It's for stuff I know I need to hang on to, but really don't want getting in the way of anything else

I've been working on a scratch-my-own-itch app, called KeyParty. It's for storing things like licence keys, serial numbers, and all the things that don't fit neatly into password apps but aren't exactly notes either. Would you be interested in me turning this into a real product?

We're working on one of those features that I've wanted all year (since moving to London *specifically* 🚇) and I can't wait to show it off
