Awesome to see Aurora again last night. Special. She has an amazing voice and unique phrasing. Playful, quirky, experimental, and emotional with beautiful messages of inclusion. You can’t put her or her music in a box. She’s just Aurora. #MusicMeanderings #PhotoMeanderings #EventMeanderings

Alligator Bites Never Heal by Doechii (2024). A mixtape that showcases her unique talent. Old school hip-hop with amazing wordplay, flow, and beautiful vocals. Her lyrics are raw, vulnerable, and playful. And the production is massive. #MusicMeanderings open.spotify.com/album/60UzB8...

Craft Services: Jurassic 5 vs The Pharcyde by DJ Nu-Mark (2015). 10 years ago today, DJ Nu-Mark - one of the awesome Jurassic 5 DJs - released this mix, saying “this is how I’d like to see all 8 MCs from both groups trade the mic”. #MusicMeanderings on.soundcloud.com/9KmfSFGvAUxC...

Hallucinating Love by Maribou State (2025). Freshly released today. Beautifully warm, hopeful, and soulful electronica with great guest vocalists - including longtime collaborator Holly Walker. Excited to see them for the first time next month. #MusicMeanderings open.spotify.com/album/6NyoU5...

Leftism by Leftfield (1995). Their classic debut turns 30 day. A proper dance album but it brings together so many flavours. Trance, deep house, breakbeat, tribal beats, dub, trip-hop, and a bunch of guest vocalists. #MusicMeanderings #PhotoMeanderings open.spotify.com/album/6Hh2Xr...

Full Moon by Moonchild Sanelly (2025). I saw her play at SXSW Sydney last year and she was awesome. Cheeky playful energy with a really unique sound of Afro-punk, kwaito, clever wordplay, and singing - including some in Xhosa. And great production. #MusicMeanderings open.spotify.com/album/2cf1s8...

Cunk on Life is laugh out loud genius. Dry absurdist humour with so many profound insights. The latest in the series with perfect delivery by Diane Morgan and Charlie Brooker’s brilliant writing. www.netflix.com/gb/title/817...

I feel lucky to have grown up skating… and to have skated into my 30s. Plenty of slams but no major injuries. Anyway, watch this. Pure compersion. I love seeing how genuinely stoked they all are for each other. Legends across generations and different styles of skating. Stoked. youtu.be/iF0UX9zYVn4

First light on a new year… must be time for bed. Watching one of my favourite bands Faithless and reminiscing on the past 30+ years of adventures… and the year of adventures ahead. “You don’t need eyes to see, you need vision”. Let’s make 2025 awesome together. Game on 😃 #PhotoMeanderings

Brazilification (Remixes 95-99) by Fila Brazillia (1999). 25 years on and this continuous mix double album is a trip-hop classic. The remix of Radiohead’s Climbing Up The Walls is awesome and it's been on a lot of my playlists since. #MusicMeanderings filabraz.bandcamp.com/album/brazil...

Halfway Somewhere by Galliano (2024). Their first album since 1997. Funky and soulful acid jazz with dub, disco, tasty breaks, big basslines, smooth rhymes and spoken word, blissful vocals, and a powerful message. And Ski Oakenfull on keys. #MusicMeanderings open.spotify.com/album/0dZQ5a...
