My understanding is that whoever bought the high street side of W H Smith’s had no choice, as sole rights were retained by the owners of the travel side of the business. That said, I never use the high street business. The concept seems out dated and doesn’t know what it wants to be.

Enjoyable social day out at Sandown today and great to see Edwardstone in the winners enclosure. That said, McCoy has a point. You can run a premier fixture on that sort of ground. I felt for the bookmakers in the cheap seats, very little business and you can’t blame connections for not running 1/2

I don’t think Starmer was in any doubt that Brexit was an economic disaster for the U.K. IMO Labour have been running scared of the backlash in the RW press, “Brexit betrayal” and all that gaslighting nonsense. I think Trump’s 2nd term behaviour has been an awakening moment.
