This comment caused me to dive into grunt outfits. I do feel there's a vague Grunt Look across the years.

I don't think.... I even noticed they were sitting. The interaction is usually counted in seconds, who cares if they're comfortable? This seems cruel, per usual

Roads like country. Streets like hip hop. Avenues like show tunes.

Do I try and find someone to play WoW Forever with and be each other's enablers?

A moment of self indulgence but I did a great job on the origami photo which Josh then used to make a truly great album cover

I liked the article where they quote a local guy and he says that they call it tilcayo but no one knows what the word means beyond it being what they call the species

Everyone should listen to the Pokemon World Tour podcast by Hey Jake and Josh. #pwt #heyjakeandjosh @pwtpodcast.bsky.social

and if I did this by instead ignoring types and focusing exclusively on how Pokemon look and act, I could probably create a totally new list of categories to put them in.

010

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I couldn't articulate any subtypes within Fairy. Dragon got weird and I had a category that was just "powerful and majestic" and called it glory. Tho maybe Majestic is better word.

210

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I'm not 100% sold on the list, but it's based on going through and really looking at the different ways a type is interpreted by Pokemon and then trying to name that tendency. Like Possession is Ghost types that are objects.

111

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

all this stemming from the idle thought "there should be a subtype of Grass called Tree that's resistant to Fire."

210

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Grass, Tree, Fungus, Ground, Clay, Sand, Ice, Snow, Glacier(?), Normal, Animal, Weird, Poison, Venom, Toxin, Psychic, Mystic, Supernatural, Rock, Crystal, Asteroid, Steel, Blade, Water, Fish, Shell

110

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

You end up with Bug, Arachnid, Moth, Dark, Shadow, Dragon, Behemoth, Glory(?), Electric, Thunder, Light, Fairy, Fighting, Warrior, Berserk, Fire, Heat, Lava, Flying, Bird, Wind, Ghost, Possession, Spirit,

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I have this sickness where every once and awhile I get stuck on the idea of Pokemon having subtypes within the standard 18. it's a totally useless thought, but I love moving pieces around on the board and looking at them.

Wow yeah, I think it's 4-3-2-1 for me.

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I start with Personality nowadays. I never felt satisfied with characters when I started with class or ancestry. It's all about the portrayal during the game and then how I'll achieve it

Does your dad even have turtles? You know they can live for a really long time so maybe your dad's turtle will be your turtle someday. I think I've lost the thread

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

I got as far as "what stats (such as sexiness, slapstick, and danger) do you need for a character to reasonably exist in a world like Teen Wolf (tv shows), Teen Wolf (movie), Big Wolf on Campus...." And then that's when I shut it down.

What if the Seven Part Pact was seven councils of wizards instead of individuals?

000

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

It feels like at some point it switches over to being something else. Like improv theatre with extra rules?

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Oh a search took me to the entrance of a rabbit hole. First few results on here were people also blocking or warning others away and then a lot of bot posts. Gonna block and dump this from my brain..... Oooof

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

YOU KNOW WHAT MY SUBCONSCIOUS DID TO ME? It gave enough elements in my dream to prompt my half awake brain to think "What are the elements you need to create a proper teenager werewolf ttrpg?" I need to shut this down immediately.

I've been thinking about trying that, yeah. Since moving, I've been switching up what I do after work (projects, cleaning, games, tv) but I could be more structured and see if that helps

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

In theory, I should like Persona games. Some of the things friends say about the series is intriguing. Every time I see a thing related to it my eyes gloss right over it. Cannot keep it in my head. No idea why

130

Benny Anders @bennactive.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I know a podcast that has already accomplished this task!

Is it queer baiting or do I simply go for the gay interpretation when the possibility presents itself?
