I think that's likely, and I do think we'll need humans solving problems so that the ai can continue to improve. It was also my understanding that getting these proofs required extensive human interaction, it's not like you just ask "solve this problem" and they got the answer. It's just a tool.

I think the real key is there is a difference between saying something that makes people uncomfortable or crosses boundaries that don't have any practical value, and saying something that, for example, puts trans people in real life danger.

Every generation has horror that seems to reflect every day anxieties, in the 19th century it was withering aristocrats in old mansions, in the 80s it was serial killers and demons, now it's empty offices and dead malls.
