I don’t know how the Matt Campbell thing is going to work out in the long run but Pat Kraft whiffing on Bob Chesney doesn’t look great right now

Kind of in love with this random high school football field.

Nice thing about central time is you don’t have to stay up too late to watch this bullshit

James Franklin vs. Bill O’Brien next week is going to feed families in certain corners of the Penn State universe.

I understand the argument that the expanded playoffs waters down the regular season but I think people underestimate how much good ass football just transcends the stakes.

Realistically we’re weeks/months away from any meaningful sense of “was the coaching change worth it” when it comes to Penn State, but a coherent and compelling opener for Matt Campbell.

Greg Schiano did really well at Rutgers about two eras of football ago. Nobody can do better than this?

James Franklin's first season at VT features: Protégé Ricky Rahne, Penn State predecessor Bill O'Brien, the team Franklin was snubbed by (Maryland), longtime antagonist Pat Narduzzi, good friend Dabo Swinney and a former Penn State/Penn State QB clash with UVA/Beau Pribula.

JJ McCarthy falling off was such a predictable phenomena. Can't take away from what he did at Michigan but almost like the Vikings didn't watch him actually play.

Teaching an intro sports analytics class and we’re talking about fourth down decisions. Had to bring back this Penn State classic.

Being overseas and mostly offline for the Belgium game was sort of a blessing. I can stomach the truth that the US was going to eventually lose but I was hoping for a team that went out on its shield not with a loaded diaper.

I was lukewarm about the America chest puffing around the World Cup given the general vibe of things and the inundation of “white power” going on but in reality it’s mostly just a showcase of our diversity in the face of what people would otherwise like to make you believe is homogeneity
