iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Kind went on a character binge the second I learned of the game, but most of what I'm excited about are old faithfuls. My urban fantasy swordsman, absentminded mad scientist, and my fursona with a deck of magical cards.

I would put monopoly money down on that just being multivitamins that Tanner's mom repackaged as something she claimed was concentrated bacon.

Well, we have an addition to the four pics from two years ago.

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

In any event, my fursona is now ready for Wildmagic Frontier.

For those attempting to recreate: Raccoon Legs, Chimp Arms, and Werewolf Head with rodent features on the cranium, brow, eyes, and nose. Play around with sliders on nose, cheeks, and jaw to get them to mesh. Cap off with projected splatter decal, boar ears, rodent teeth, and of course the tail.

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

So, activated a Pro subscription early... and no amount of kitbashing could fix the teeth on that raccoon head. So new plan. I went with a werewolf head, slapped on rodent features, and applied a projected splatter decal to fix the overly smooth fur on some sections of the head. #HeroForge

How did Sy survive into adulthood?

120

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Done correctly, more clothing can be more erotic than being stark nude. Failing that, there's always the fire elemental transformation tonic.

010

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Poking around at it some more, the biggest flaw is the teeth. Raccoon head does not have customizable teeth. Which is a pity, as that would make it 95% perfect. Oh well. That mouth is staying closed until I after the Kickstarter when I can kit bash.

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

So, WildMagic Frontier has had me poking Hero Forge HEAVILY the past few days... and the old rodent had SO many old depreciated parts. So I cobbled something together with Chimp, Raccoon, and Boar. What do you think? Did I get a Rat or a Possum? #WildMagicFrontier #HeroForge

Hopefully we never reach a point where everything Tanner "knows" rewrites reality. The fish would not survive the new high sugar water content.

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

I only touch energy drinks rarely, and never for flavor, but at least they realize people want a taste other than "the liquid embodiment of the color neon lime".

010

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

...and I need to use a third party app for that on Bluesky. One minute.

010

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Well, just read Beyond Cannon... and now ideas are formulating in my brain. Ideas competing with all the others ideas. So I'm making a poll. The poll will likely result in NOTHING, but having some peer pressure from friends might make my brain more manageable.

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Like all games, Aniimo has an early start web event going. Of course, it's only for a name card in this case. #Aniimo Right now, I'm looking to get a Nimbi in exchange for a Fentuft Wait! Let's exchange Aniimo!>>https://aniimo.com/en/jsyz?inviteCode=DnuRic

000

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

This is why I make my fursona just a mildly more presentable version of myself. That way there I don't get any dissonance between my crippling low self esteem and people thinking I'm hot.

000

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

It's rugged and clean at the same time. Doesn't matter if you're drawing the biggest hunk or the skinniest dude.

010

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I barely saw any wings in Aion 2. Also no otter merchants. I'd say it was like the game was embarrassed of what it used to be, but I've seen how they filed off all the edges from the original already just to make it pretty people.

Whelp, better than being unemployed.

010

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Well gee. I took that screenshot praising the Bookwyrm, and how it would be hard to top. And of course the next spirit was Spellsqueak. This particular DLC was made for me. Now I just need mouse/rat ears added to the avatar customization.

000

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

...the only thing from the base game that might survive is that I will still sleep with the Moonpaw because going to bed with a pound puppy as a child just ingrains certain things into someone.

000

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Honestly, if I wasn't just supporting this software/game/toy in general, I'd actually list this DLC as my biggest personal must buy. The other ones have a one or two things about them, but they are all competing for screen time with both each other and the base game. This time...

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

Whelp, another new expansion to Spirit City, and I've almost reached the halfway point for the new spirits. Though they are going to have to go above and beyond to surpass the new Bookwyrm. #SpiritCity:LofiSessions

It has an appealing rough and rugged edge to it, while also sometimes being such an emotional gut punch I feel like I'm suddenly into soap operas.

020

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

Unfortunately such a technique will not work with writing. At least not unless you consider "The Gap" peek literature.

010

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

I vaguely remember grandpa doing something like that. That and using black liquorish instead of fennel.

I unfortunately no longer play Fortnite.

000

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

I'm late to the party, but I don't think anyone will notice. Like, really. Aside from social awkwardness keeping from acting on any of the horniness, that is me.

010

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Congratulations. The only location even kinda near me is in busy city in an entire other county.

000

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

What's really scary is how Sy has a bowl of fruit that he can pull out of hammer space on demand. Honestly, the real problem is the economy driving up the price of strawberry milk. Tanner is just choosing his substitutes poorly.

110

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

This company either has a loose dress code, or they are so used to hyper expansion like this they are waiting until he plateaus before bringing in the company tailor.

000

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Getting a flood of story ideas blocking my grove for working on the story I should be writing. Stuff ranging from "What if I was reborn as an Orr?" to "Write about taurs." Yes, I know only one of those might be understandable to you.

000

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

OK. This is both a little more subtle and more your style. Also, guess I need to eat my words on the "oblivious to how hot he he" line. You do not pose in hot pants to snap a picture with your smart phone if you aren't at least a little aware of how hot you are.

110

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Yep, barely even got time to blink. Also bit more of a gut than I'm used to from your work. I can only assume certain inspirations are to blame. Still a hunk, and looks completely clueless about it.

000

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

So is he going to get to be a small innocent young man just trying his best for awhile, or is he going to bulk up to a husbando oblivious how hot he is the next time I blink? Not that I'm complaining or have grounds to complain. I do it all the time too, even if I'm working with prose.

010

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Hmm... it's lovely, but it also feels like there is one glaring mistake. The pentagram of the back of the dress is right side up in the "holy" position. Feels like a nitpick, but it's upside down in the "unholy" position everywhere else. Once again, it's very lovely, and I'm sorry to be that guy.

000

Early voting starts tomorrow for me. Preview ballot for Independents is slim, but that past two years have proven that even judges matter.

000

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Well, that's one way for population control.

010

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Yep. Eli is telepathically connected to Rory's brain, entirely so he doesn't have to share one brain cell with Tanner.

010

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

It's a pity "Heal Thy Bur Gers" is an existing meme someone else has already cashed in on. Still, "Life is Soup I am Fork" is all yours.

110

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

So when are you going to evolve? Aqua Tail at Lv 38, or are you holding out for Wave Crash at Lv 49? Once you run out of moves to learn, there really isn't much point in holding of evolution. At least for a nonbulky pokemon like buizel.

010

Benjamin Mahir @benjaminmahir.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Sorry to necropost, but after I left twitter I tried to find you on Bluesky to no avail, only to get an impulse to do a random search. This is the picture that showed up. Nothing else to say, we don't actually know each other. Just sharing joy.
