And so the adventure of Rude Hero begins. Really enjoying the aesthetic of the game so far, has that feeling of the developers just getting to grips with the PS2 and leaning on a lot of the techniques from the PS1 era instead

Decided to complete a game I've never heard of suggested by a friend each month until (???). Maybe I'll hate them, maybe I'll find the coolest shit ever, idk thats the fun of it. Starting with Shadow Hearts, as suggested by my brother. Will drop some thoughts in this thread as I go.

Forgot to post about it, but went to see "Asses.masses" over the weekend. Really fascinating intersection of game design and theatre in a way I can't imagine working in any other format, the atmosphere was fantastic the whole way through. Highly recommend if it ever tours near where you are.

Screenshot of a top-down pixel art game. Three donkeys stand in a cave. The audience is presented the dialogue options "Do you want to watch me play Rocks?", "Boulders can't stop water, can they?" and "Isn't there a better way to move a builder." The first option is selected.
