Truly All-Atom Boltzmann sampling with AquaGen
We built a model that shows it’s possible to train a Boltzmann sampler that still works with a key ingredient of biochemical molecular dynamics: water.

..they also have deep structural flaws, and grounding is what make frontier models as good as they are today. I believe that grounding our models in the physics of biochemistry is a path that may deliver the next generation of state-of-the-art models.

..and produce ensemble property predictions that are accurate and well calibrated. I'm deeply excited by the _grey box_ perspective that we adopt in the paper. While black box models have been ridiculously successful...

Very happy to introduce AquaGen! Learning all about molecular dynamics and the fine details of 3D generative modeling was a journey, but this paper shows that it is possible to model thousands of atom coordinates at an accuracy where it can seamlessly interact with MD...

Congratulations to Rich Sutton and Andrew Barto on receiving the Turing Award in recognition of their significant contributions to ML. I also stand with them: Releasing models to the public without the right technical and societal safeguards is irresponsible. www.ft.com/content/d8f8...

My brother uses Finale professionally, but it's a bit like Emacs, once you're used to all the motions it's hard to change/compare.

Generative models often create molecules that are hard to synthesize. Tomorrow, we present SynFlowNet, a GFlowNet designed to generate synthesizable molecules using documented reactions and purchasable materials. Learn more at the MLSB workshop: arxiv.org/abs/2405.01155
