Elysia... The sky is most beautiful at night, don't you agree? I commissioned Agurami earlier this summer (with some birthday gift money thank you people!) to make this piece! Art by: @agurami.bsky.social #ellynart #art #oc #vgen

Aer'Ellyn is a demigod typically referred to as the "Siren of the Dark Sea", though she hasn't done that in over a hundred years. She is Elysia Veyne's love interest and can call a special lunar scythe "Selun, The Stars Oath" from the afterlife. Art by: vgen.co/lirokyys #ellynart #art #oc #vgen

aer'ellyn writes the verses for this song over the course of a year with each verse ending with the same line. She sings it to Elysia in her dreams sometimes, with Elysia only ever remembering the chorus. each verse could essentially be a journal page.

i have been sick as FUCK for a week now and im going back to work today. I'm going to infect everybody! I look like the embodiment of death, my eyes are red and swollen and I look sooo pale. If they have me working on roses today I am going to freak.

Elysia Veynes appearance was designed by @agurami.bsky.social using a bunch of random images I provided as inspiration, full character sheet coming eventually! Thank you so much too!

Elysia Veyne, typically referred to as Veyne or Miss Veyne, she is known as the Ash Queen by those who live in the Badlands. She is Aer'Ellyns girlfriend/love interest and wields her legendary enchanted flintlock: Black Rose, Star of the Dark Sea. Art by: vgen.co/lirokyys #ellynart #art #oc #vgen

and here is the song "Farther than the Settin' Sun" for the project of the same name mentioned in the other posts. Elysia's greatest fear is being forgotten, similar to her deceased brother Cassian. This song is supposed to be one of the final scenes in the project.

fast paced blue grass inspired. Scene for this song takes place in a bar, banjo, guitar, fiddle, etc. Occasional backing vocals. Like Sandstorm, I like the world building I did here. Outro quotes part of the second verse from Sandstorm. Serafyra is a goddess, anything else is a place in the story.

Inspired by "Hurricane" by the Castellows, mainly the chorus. That said, the chorus isn't finished, I'm not sure I'm actually going to use this in the project but I like the world building of the song. I did not post the entire song here.

I rewrote Aer'Ellyns backstory recently from the perspective of a Sol'folk (sun elfish race) country man. It's also on her vgen page, but here is the longform post! longer.blue/posts/DOD3H6...

My dad passed away 4 years ago\, and my birthday is on the 20th. I reworked an old song I did to fit a project I'm working on better, verse 3 is the apex and appears in a different chapter than the rest of the song. I cut out the extended chorus for this post, that will be saved for the project.

Yeah they're bad. I've seen college students get fucked because an app the professor uses thinks their writing was done by AI. If you try using them on some of your own writing it may even think you're using AI when you definitely don't. It's stupid lol.

I just saw this series of posts. God I hope AI isn't what rimworld modding has turned to. I've been thinking of playing again recently and seeing this, and I used to use rimsort, is kind of disheartening to see.

Aerellyn @beneathstarryskies.com · 01/07/2026

I've not told them that I write music, I barely give them any information on what the series is about, they just know the genre basically and keep trying to pry. D: In other news, the heat almost killed me today! Fun! Nothing like some loss of balance and lightheaded to make the day interesting!

People at work see me come in early and work on my writing projects and start trying to ask detailed questions about it and ask when I'll publicly publish something. I'm happy they're interested, but it's draining after awhile and it's awkward for me to talk about in person compared to online.

I've updated my page on vgen with a (shorter than I normally would have done) backstory on Aer'Ellyn + a few other things. You will probably need to be logged in to see it. All art included is credited! Will be adding more in the future. vsona.co/aer-ellyn/ab... #Vgen #oc #art

man this year's spring sucks ass, it keeps flip-flopping between cold and warm in my area so i have to play 20 questions with the weather or i'll wake up from bed frozen or burning lmao it would suck in its own way dealing with just the heat but at least it would be CONSISTENT FOR CHRIST'S SAKE

Coworker witnessed a death this morning. Some lady sped right past him, hydroplaned in a big puddle of water, failed to correct, went into the air and landed on her roof. Said she was pretty fucked up and groaning when he got to her. Still made it to work on time.

I know of a few events in the past for some games I played that you'd have to watch for a total of 10 hours to get something. That'd fucking suck if you wasted ANY time, but a lot of time is just pain man. Pain.

As I get older my music tastes have drastically changed. I used to like a lot of oldschool rap and the occasional pop song, but lately it's just country. Modern country, outlaw, country pop, country rock, doesn't matter most of it is good.
