In Timed-Mode, a single "drop" will effectively label that run as a 'Juice-run' so to speak, but you can always restart your run and try again.

I don't doubt that in a head-to-head between two first-timers, the Juicer would outperform the Purist 😄 On that note. We plan to have a 'Timed' mode for each chapter, with a connected leaderboard (For those who want to challenge them selves more). That board will have a "Juicer" & "Purist" column.

They actually balanced each other out fairly evenly. The purist already had a good bit of first-person platforming experience which seemed to make up for any time gained by the Juicers. The fastest of them all where those with experience in the genre who also didn't shy away from a bit of Juice⚡⚡

Yes! Some skilled ( And stubborn? ) players completed the full demo without a single juice! Others only used a few and some vent full juice-hunting-mode 😌 While Juice is a lot of fun to use, some find pride in avoiding them all together.

All the levels are designed to be overcome without using a single Juice. It's just harder, slower and more risky. The only places where juice is 100% essential is to reach hidden collectables or secrets. So running dry is def more of a re-plan-your-route-and-step-carefully 😌

The different Juices can be used independent of each other or chained together for some sick movement-combos! The player will have to be smart of when, how and where they use Juice, as It's a finite resource. Save them to skip a risky part? Or maybe stack a couple to reach a secret area.

Using Window's 'Sticky Notes' for this is actually insane. Respect. I once teamed up with a dude, for a game-jam, that programmed our whole game in notepad. After 3 full days, just before presenting, he just vanished without saying anything. To this day I'm not entirely convinced he ever existed.
