I don't want to offend anybody but I can shake my impression something is deeply wrong with the US population with Trump STILL getting 40% approval. It's HUGE. Wonder what the same (TRUE) numbers are/were for Putin, Netanyahu, Kim Jung Un, Hitler, etc. Are humans that bad or self destructive ?

US oil reserves = - 15 years of ITS production - 10 years of ITS consumption Grabbing Venezuela's reserves added - 60 years to ITS production - 40 years to ITS consumption BTW, WORLD reserves will sustain WORLD 2024 consumption for approx 40 years ! Won't end well. 8.3 Billion people is A LOT.

Stephen King "The Stand" is the perfect metaphor for what is happening in the US. - Total 1/2 division. - Each "side" sees the other as evil. - Inherently good people end up doing abject acts. More terrifying now then when originally published. Not sure the good side will win in the real world.
