Reminds me of Viserys Targaryen from ASoIaF/Game of Thrones. The arrogant prat insisted on riding in a cart when with the Dothraki, which unbeknowst to him, is considered shameful in the horse-riding Dothraki culture. So they gave him the derogatory nickname "Khal Rhaggat", meaning "Cart King".
