A text version of these bounds are: - East of Adelaide Street North - North of Fanshawe Park Rd E - West of Highbury Avenue North - South of London’s Urban Growth Boundary (the furthest street north is Springridge Drive)

000

So, if you live within the boundaries shown, then you’ll be voting for your Ward 3 City Councillor (not Ward 5) in the upcoming Municipal Election on October 26, 2026.

100

Short answer: if you live in the green part of the map below, you currently DO live in Ward 5, but the boundary change means that you NOW live in Ward 3, for all intents and purposes.

100

A resident reached out to me today asking for clarification on whether they now lived in Ward 5 or Ward 3. Great question! Here's the answer: bendurham.ca/2026/parts-o...

100

Because HEPA filters have a very restrictive airflow, they can't "process" as much air, unless you spend huge amounts on a super high quality one... and then even MORE money on replacement proprietary air filters. MERV 13 filters are standard and relatively inexpensive.

000

HEPA is, debatably, not as good as a box fan with a MERV 13 behind it because if you have high ACH, you can completely filter the entire volume of air in your home more than a HEPA

100

ACH (Air Changes per Hour) is arguably the most critical metric for evaluating an air purifier.

100

DIY air purifiers really help with wildfire smoke. Please take care of your lungs. These are all variations of corsi rosenthal boxes... but without the boxes 😅

101

Side note: it's hard to get behind-the-scenes shots of canvassing because it's a WHOLE other thing to keep track of and do in addition to the hard work of canvassing. We'll figure something out 🙃

000

If you don't want to canvass, though: no problem! There are SO many other ways to support this Campaign. DM, text, call, or email me, or go to bendurham.ca for more info!

100

If YOU want to join in and support the Ben Durham Ward 3 Campaign, let me or my team know! Canvassers and campaign donations are the most important thing right now, so we can knock on every door in Ward 3 multiple times before October!

100

We're honestly having SO MUCH FUN. People said that canvassing is difficult... and it is (from a time and planning perspective), but WOW! Ward 3 and our neighbours are jems ♥ I love it here.

We've been out knocking on THOUSANDS OF DOORS and asking our neighbours what their top concerns are at the municipal level!

FACT: the majority of people WANT to ride bicycles more

010

Ben Durham @ben-durham.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

"who could oppose safer streets?"

100

Delivered it a few days later to her surprise and tada! Also gave her back her initial bike but recommended that it be donated to Squeaky Wheel so volunteers could fix it up and it could go to someone else who had different needs.

011

To get all the tools and guidance, I attached the everyday bike to the Tern cargo bike and hauled it over to ⁨@londoncyclelink⁩ 's Squeaky Wheel Bike Co-op where I worked on it for about 3 hours, and then it was ready to go!

100

To pick it up near Gore Rd and Hamilton Rd, coming from Huron Heights, we both rode on our ⁨@ternbicycles⁩ Tern GSD, and then Natalia rode it back!

100

Sooooo I found an Everyday Bicycles bike on FB marketplace for $70 that had everything she needed (upright riding position, fenders, less aggressive tires, a bell, etc).

100

This is Becca's new-to-her bicycle. She'll see this post and probably chuckle because she asked me to fix and tune up her husband's 15-year-old mountain bike in May, but that was the wrong bicycle style for her use-case.

Toast? Bread? City? You decide.

000

If you want to stay private, I'll make sure I have routine office hours where you can speak one-on-one with me both in-person or via phone/video chat etc.

000

and put a lav mic on me or in the room. But you'd be able to get my audio files later, if asked. Good audio takes a bit of effort, especially in what are usually the echoey rooms that townhalls tend to be held in. Townhalls are public forums.

100

But if you wanted to record Ward 3 townhalls for your own reasons or for accessibility... or really any reason, feel free to set up a tripod (or hand-hold, but that's shaky and tiring, so I don't recommend it).

100

2. film and post utilizing my current audio & video equipment (no cost to taxpayers) [higher quality output with with the opportunity to cut around technical issues via multiple mics and multiple cameras]

110

1. stream it via low-cost phones [lower quality output with potential for technical problems, but instant for residents to see]

100

Definitely yes. Actually, I'd be utilizing my comms budget to hire a videographer/camera operator to show up to townhalls and either...

120

3. If you're not in Ward 3, I want to hear your thoughts, too, but just make it clear you're not in the ward. For science (and data gathering)

000

2. Lemme know if you're interested in helping with the campaign because it's going to be a LOT of work over the next 178 days

100

1. If you're in Ward 3, I want to hear your thoughts and concerns
