Curzon Ashton v Hereford in the National League North was where we ended up between pubs. Good competitive game that the home side eventually won 2-1 Ideal level of football. Decent sized ground. But still intimate and non-league. And crucially fine to drink on the terrace.

Three seasons in a row I’ve done Coventry United (A) Not a single point has been earned. 9th division football in a 2nd tier Rugby ground is an odd sensation. The chips usually save the day but yesterday, no chips. Good thing the pub across the car park is one of the best in the country.
