Bem @bem.neocities.org · 01/08/2026I've achieved my first ever Ascension 10 victory in Slay the Spire 2 today! Toasty Mittens are very powerful this patch. Also, shout out to Razor Tooth. Incredible relic. 110
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 24/06/2026I greatly dislike the impact AI image generation tools have had on specifically the adult video games industry. So many new and upcoming games have zero artistic identity, because they all use this glossy AI look. Such a shame. 020
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 26/04/2026Finally got around to finishing one of the many short stories I had begun writing and neglected to continue. I deserve a treat (dinner). 000
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 04/03/2026After almost a decade and 1350 hours of playtime, I have now completed my third save file in The Binding of Isaac. What an excellent game. It feels very cathartic to be rewarded with an artwork where Isaac finally gets to smile. I'm happy for him. #thebindingofisaac 000
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 28/01/2026I recently attended a lecture on the Tor network; like how it works, it's benefits, and what onion services are. It's all really fascinating! I'm thinking of creating and self-hosting an onion service as a learning project. (Benefits include not having to pay for a domain name. Nice!) 100
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 26/10/2025I baked pastries today. Usually I take a commemorative picture, but this time it slipped my mind. They were too tasty and gone in an instant. I can't even be upset. 000
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 30/07/2025@acerola.gg made a fantastic video about these exploitative gameplay mechanics and how they came to be. It is very informative and entertaining. Do watch it if you are at all interested in the state of gaming. m.youtube.com/watch?v=5LNz...m.youtube.comThe Terribly Tragic, Totally Avoidable, Absolute Collapse Of The Gaming IndustryYouTube video by Acerola 000
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 30/07/2025Steam achievements have been added to I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, almost 29 years after it released on the platform. I'm unsure I want to collect them, as replaying the game seems like a pain, but maybe some of you will be like "Torture again? My favorite!" 000
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 29/07/2025About a month ago, I commited the ultimate sin and downloaded my first gacha game, Blue Archive. And man, the character aquisition system is the most exploitative game element I've ever seen. To guarantee a 3-star character, you need around 278€ worth of ingame currency. That's ludicrous. 100
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 09/07/2025Just had a joke pop into my head: "Top one times I've shat myself. Number one: Right now." Pretty funny, but still unrefined. Thoughts on how to improve it? 000
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 25/06/2025Finished building the Nanoblock pirate ship I was gifted for my birthday some days ago. Took longer than expected. The tiny brick sizes tested my patience quite a bit, as I am more used to the size of Legos. Still, I enjoyed the process and will be displaying it proudly. 000
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 16/06/2025This semester I had a course on web design and now I feel the need to rebuild my neocity from the ground up. We're talking complete structural overhaul. I'll add it to my summer to-do list. 010
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 15/06/2025Just replayed the Journey Mode of Tetris Effect after not having played Tetris for easily over a year. Pure bliss. The moment I reacquainted myself with the controls, I was back to playing like a savant as if I hadn't even left. If you've never given Tetris a chance, please do. It's truly timeless. 000
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 08/06/2025Finished reading the Chimera Ants arc in HxH. While there is lots for me to criticize, all was forgiven when I read the three pages of Reina returning home to her mother. Tearjerker scenes like that are what I live for. 000
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 05/06/2025I'm such a sucker for ASMR videos in which romantic scenes are acted out. They make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. God, I'm lonely 100
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 16/04/2025Rayman-bros, we are so back. Rejoice, for Ubisoft added Steam achievements to Rayman Legends. It's a great opportunity to replay the game. I am doing so now and having a blast. It's one of the best 2D platformers of all time imo 050
Bem @bem.neocities.org · 02/03/2025Another day, another Binding of Isaac run I plan to do the ascent on and forget to take the fool card with me. #thebindingofisaac #tboi 020
