You want a low-tech car ... let me introduce you to the Citroën 2CV. You can't get more low tech than that. I drove one for 7 years, so I know! And now with electric resto-mods available, staying true to the spirit of the original car, what are you waiting for?? ;-)

Too good not to share ... was doing a search on public holidays in Austria (the country without kangaroos) and BING gave me this as result ...

Ah yes, next to the wide collection of small arms ... what better than the famous FN carbonated drink to refresh yourself after your time at the range 😁. Available up to .50" portions!

Russian gauge is wider than standard gauge, so all infra (tunnels, bridges, cuttings etc) can be kept. Hopefully they keep the Russian loading gauge so they can still big, wide loads.

Big news but then don't forget that to get to Finland with a train you need to go all the way north to Lapland. Ignoring Russia you can only go via Sweden:

If you like this, then maybe give David McAuley a look ... has a whole series of books on hidden structures. Devoured these as a teen at the local library after having my appetite wetted by Richard Scarry as a kid.

Haven't seen any comment on image Elon Musk uses for his X account: it's literally an image of a black hole! Basically, an object from which nothing can escape and destroys everything in its path ... is he trying to say something??

Ouch. Touché ... I'll just sulk here with my frites and beer with maybe some chocolate as desert then.

Getting some serious zoot suit vibes ... which is rather ironic knowing where this trend originated!
