We hosted our inaugural 9to5 party Friday as a fun way to celebrate the life of Dolly. We decked out the house in butterflies, sparkly things, and invited over some of the most wonderful friends. To carry on Dolly’s philanthropic legacy we collected books for a non profit early childcare program.

Even though I’ve cooked on a grill or smoker for nearly 2 decades I still don’t always get it right. I cooked these kebabs the other day and questioned if I should post them. Even though these weren’t a solid win they weren’t necessarily a fail either. Good flavor but I could have done better.

Smoking some sharp cheddar on the bottom rack. Then colby jack, small brick of pepper jack, and small brick of extra sharp cheddar on the top rack. They will be good to go once they rest for 2 weeks in the fridge.

Just finished a king sized blanket commissioned by my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. This one only took me 7 months. lol. Shaved 2 months off the time it took to make my last king sized blanket.
