Decided to start working on a new version of my shiny hunting spreadsheet as the old one looked fairly ugly and was very annoying to update. Quite happy with how it's looking so far, also have made updating it a lot less annoying as well, though i have a lotta stuff to import now lmao

UGLY OLD SPREADSHEET EWWW WHY ARE THE CELLS NOT COMBINED AND WHY IS THE SPECIES UNDER THE DAMN SPRITE I WASN'T COOKING LAST YEAR

I'd also have to generally update these stats and others whenever i found a shiny pokemon, got very old very quickly so i kinda didn't bother after mid-late 2025.

Newer spreadsheet I'm working on, Pretty big fan of not having the sprites over the cells and keeping the name separate from said sprites. also just looks cleaner in general with the merged cells not being strewn out all over the place. Still gotta import everything post 2022 (and all my 1/4096 shinies which i'll do seperately).

Also i think the colours work better here as they're closer to those of shiny Glaceon (Pokemon Related) instead of the older one which had a colour scheme inspired by some shots from the BNA Outro (which i do really like but it's not pokemon related and was probably a little hard on the eyes)

I also have been used the powers of basic research to be able to get it to track encounters per gen, shinies per gen and averages per shiny per gen, which is really nice because i hated doing it manually.

That being said i got a lot more to do here, such as tracking fails and also getting things set up 'per year'.

Played the 1st ori game to 100% over the last two days or so, astonishingly great game. I do feel like the combat element was kinda weak, but everything else is just so insanely well done that being said i hate that it "ends" like HK because the last world event will never be lit up on my save >:(
