War, war never changes

I'm 14 turns into this map and I'm playing SO defensively because I'm terrified of having to restart and they keep sending really threatening reinforcements

Went to the S9nic concert last night and it was incredible. Very different song selection from a couple years ago, and they weren't afraid to get weird/obscure with it. Highlights were a final boss medley, Heroes team theme medley, and Right There, Ride On. The vocalists were so enthusiastic

I miss her so much. Pouring one out for Crestoria and the ~$100 I spent on swimsuit Tear. That game deserved better.

My boy!!!! He's here and he's strong!! For reference, my main character has 46 max HP and 3 defense. Also Anakin can do a 100 damage (enough to one shot any enemy) essentially limitless range line aoe every turn for free.

Whenever I try to do high end stuff in FEH I think about that post from a new player asking how to do damage

The characters are so tropey in the Awakening trilogy that there's just no juice there. FE4 is the notable exception to this, where the character writing informs the romance mechanics and vice versa.

SWTOR finished up its expansion story today, and left me thinking about why its writing and framing work so well for me. The game just does such a good job of encouraging you to define and refine your character as you play in a way that compels me to fill in those gaps out of play in headcanon/fics.
