BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 11/08/2026For me, it's "I know I'm gonna end up playing this when it comes out, and I have the money right now, so might as well get that out the way" Is it a good idea with my backlog? Oh goodness no 000

BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Resident Evil: Requiem is a perfect blending of vulnerable, cautious survival horror, and action-based survival horror. An exhilarating thrill ride from start to finish, beautifully gruesome and terrifying, Leon is as babygirl as always and Grace is such a wonderful addition to the series 010
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Medievil: Resurrection is freaking weird, completely catching me off guard after not long having played through the original. Decisions sure were made in what they changed from the original, and I'm really not sure I'm on board with them 130
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Forza Horizon 6 doesn't dare to dream being anything other than what it is, but it feels like the formula being perfected in being an open-world arcade racer. Don't bother buying it or grabbing Gamepass for it while the BDS boycott is ongoing though (I have gamepass backed up) 120
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Medievil II is a game that feels like it both improves on aspects of the first game, yet also feels worse in others. I don't know where I'd put it in comparison to the first one, but I feel like it's one that could use a revisit at some point like the first has 120
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Super Paper Mario is an interesting experiment, and I can understand how it generated a mixed reaction, I certainly prefer the more turn-based system from the prior games, but I find myself on the positive side of things here, they did a pretty good job with the writing overall 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Medievil absolutely feels like a platformer from the PS1 in both the good and bad ways, simplistic combat system and clunky platforming, but carrying so much charm with it that makes you want to keep going anyway 120
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier...I can't comment on how badly this the character/world, and there were certainly some cheap difficulty moments abound, but there is one thing I will give it and that's how the flying actually felt fun to play around with for PSP, even if it leans hard on dogfights 110
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Secret Agent Clank is...incredibly mixed an experience. Constantly switching between gameplay styles, never fully giving them time to build to a satisfying experience such that every switch left me groaning since none of them actually felt enjoyable to play 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Punch-Out Wii was satisfying to learn the fights and overcome the challenge in. No Title Defense mode, but the fights were never unfair or bs, letting me slowly see through the mechanics and learn how to deal with them before pulling each fight off 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Pursuit Force is one of those stupid-ass cop action films in game form, with you jumping between cars and everything. Would be a short experience if it weren't for the games difficulty just being way over the place 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Star Fox 64 feels like it holds up so well even in its original state nowadays. The gameplay feels so smooth still, and any issues that got in the way of getting the true ending felt just like I needed more time with the game. Plus I will always love hammy dialogue 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Cat Quest 3 feels a bit smaller compared to the prior games, but it feels more leaner a game and made the journey through it feel that much more smoother and satisfying for this enjoyable action-adventure formula 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters manages to feel at least somewhat faithful a portable conversion for the franchise, though it didn't survive the control squeeze well and it can feel a little overly difficult at times, felt like I was carried by rewinds at points 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Mario Galaxy 2 is one I've beat before, but this was my first time hitting the full 242 stars in it. There's still so much I remember loving in this game with the variety in levels, and still being as gorgeous music/visually, but I had forgotten that it can actually feel a bit jank at times too 200
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 03/07/2026(God why have I forgotten to update this for 3 months) Rhythm Heaven Fever definitely caught me a bit off-guard with how tricky it was to medal some of the games/remixes in this one, but it's just as fun and satisfying to pull off as ever 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 01/07/2026Really has been the gen of PlayStation doing everything they can to get me to ditch their platform 010
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 22/06/2026Terrified to see what import prices would be over here, makes the pc I got earlier in the year seem quite worthwhile 000
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 31/05/2026As someone who does enjoy the whole achievement thing, the most important thing you need to internalize is that you're never going to get all the achievements in every game, and you have to make peace with that and letting games just stay incomplete. It's all a part of the journey 010
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 23/04/2026God please, it sucks while leveling to keep getting lower leveled duties cause I don't get the opportunity to learn my buttons or the job rotation until suddenly getting launched into high-level content 000
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 05/04/2026Legends Z-A, while not as good for me as Legends Arceus, is still a pretty fun time to go through, with main and side content that was really enjoyable to go through. The Mega Dimensions DLC however, is a slog of a grind with no respect for my time 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 05/04/2026Daxter sure is interesting in the context of the series, but it's a pretty neat experience for what it is as a short but sweet 3D platformer from the PSP 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 05/04/2026Ender Lillies is a beautifully horrific metroidvania, with an art direction and soundtrack that sticks out above all, though not to downplay that gameplay and how fun it was to play around with its unique mechanics and boss fights 110
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 15/03/2026Cat Quest II is very much second verse same as the first in being a nice casual action rpg, though the increase in complexity with managing a second character was certainly appreciated 101
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 08/03/2026Got to try Sonic Racing Crossworld via a free weekend, a part of me has concerns about the amount of content it has at least single-player wise, but it's a very fun playing kart racer and it's great to see how much from the Sonic series has been represented in this game 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 08/03/2026Kirby Super Star was great to play and see how some key elements of Kirby games nowdays originated, and all the different takes on how a Kirby platformer can work is really cool to see 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 08/03/2026Cat Quest is a pretty simple action rpg, but it doesn't exactly pretend to be anything more than that. Just a cute and pleasant little time to work through 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 08/03/2026Carto's a neat little puzzle game with a cute artstyle, and doesn't go on too long for it's concept to tire out completely 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 14/02/2026Going through Bananza's post game in handheld mode after playing the full game in docked mode and it feels like someone left the motion smoothing option on their tv turned on, it's genuinely so awful (discounting the games that have actually made me nauseous from just turning the camera) 010
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 13/02/2026(also my first time fully playing through a game on stream which woot) 000
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 13/02/2026Donkey Kong Bananza feels much like Mario Odyssey for me, where it's not necessarily my favourite structure for a 3D platformer, but it's still very solid for what it is and a bunch of fun to play around with mechanically 200
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 04/02/2026My deepest condolences as someone who immediately noticed day one, sucks so much as someone who loved handheld mode for switch 1 000
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 30/01/2026I'm sure I didn't get the proper experience with the original Legend of Zelda by following along a guide the whole time, but it's a bit of a pleasant surprise just how well this still ends up holding up, despite its sequels evolving upon it 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 26/01/2026(Wow I've finished a game this year) Mother 3 is a game that feels impossible to live up to its mythical reputation, but I can respect just how it came to have it within its character writing and its themes, the clash of its quirks and joy in life with the feeling of loss and artificiality 120
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 23/01/2026So your dream just suddenly turned into that one Leon/Krauser fight in Resi 4? 100

BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 01/01/2026Overall that makes 50 game clears for 2025 www.backloggery.com/BelleClover/..., with my top 10 and honourable mentions as followed 010
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 01/01/2026Lumines Arise is pretty much Tetris Effect 2, so it's automatically fantastic and other games wish it could be it. The marriage of soundtrack, artistic direction and gameplay is as incredibly solid as ever, even if the game did kinda kick my ass a fair bit 120
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 01/01/2026Skate Story can feel a bit pretentious at times, but the vibes with the soundtrack just make for such an immaculate and ethereal experience that makes it stand out compared to other skating games 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 01/01/2026Disney Illusion Island is pretty simplistic for a metroidvania, but I think that gets balanced out by just how charming the game is, and how good it looks in motion as you explore the world 100
BelleClover @belleclover.bsky.social · 29/12/2025I look forward to you wrecking my Steam wishlist further more in 2026 000
